So what’s the deal? Today I was listening to the ABC radio and they had a sports journo on giving a preview to this weeks round and he suddenly goes in to the carnage and players being rested and how his brothers NRL SC team which is 4th overall and in contention for the $50k has been affected.Are friends and family of players, officials and media with inside knowledge eligible for these cash prizes if they win?

Little late to see this but i imagine they would of been referring to #2 overall who is tim williams. He used to work for the daily telegraph last year as a journo, but not anymore. He now runs his own subsription to supercoach articles for nrl and bbl called sc playbook . He is also the brother of fringe nrl player sam williams who played last week, so gets a lot of inside mail on the raiders.

Milf and Moylan are both never agains for me
Pretty much have to start Teddy / Turbo but Teddy is a massive chunk
Stimpson and Connor Watson $288K is my big watch
Talakai and Capewell both the magical 2RF / CTR dual also very interesting
If my dogs can nab burton with the dual hes my other one

Very new to the format as the upcoming season will be my 3rd time around. No ill will towards Moylan yet (owned him in my debut season- 2019) but he should be the easiest selection of the season. Rookie priced and the worst case scenario is another injury but is o***et by the small outlay required and if he is not performing well then he can be easily moved out of the playing 17.

4 consecutive seasons averaging 45+ between 2016-2019. Massive reward outweighs the minimal risk attached.

yep burnt me 2019, avoided 2020. With the 3 match price rise he might be a cash grab early season with no SJ but no way I'm starting him rd1, Milf a bit the same but I think he had zero chance last year with coach.

If you have to choose between Milf and Moylan go with the one that'll be in the more improved team. For me that's the Sharks.
