Unfortunately Aussie Damon Heta didn't make it through to the 2nd round as he lost to Danny Baggish 2-3. Heta came from 2-0 down but missed 6 match darts in the last 2 legs.

Great match between Scott Waites and Matt Campbell last night with all 25 possible legs being played as each set went to 5 legs (3-2) and would highly recommend a viewing.

Great match and my prediction of a 5 set thriller was spot on. Does not get any easier in the next round against the Polish Eagle in a match which should go the distance (7 sets). Whitlock has him for power scoring (180 hitting) but he has to make sure that he has a good doubling percentage and avoids patches of poor doubling otherwise he will be greatly punished.
