anyone got their eye on a defender in that 160k-250k range this year? there's usually a good pick there and it can help with structure if you have someone near rookie price with good js who you can put at d4/5 without taking on too much risk of a donut. but no one stands out to me there at first blush.

Haven't seen Ugle-Hagan mentioned in a team yet, wouldn't he have the best JS of them all ?

I remember passing on Anderson this season because of his starting price , he probably was one of the better rookie mids to own in the end.
Cannot see him getting anywhere near the Dogs Midfield.

Makes him a FWD Rookie. No for Me.

I thought I read something they might play him off HB.

Just was thinking his perceived JS might be a lot better than most so at least he is playing most weeks.

I will pencil him in at this stage , easier to adjust down than up when the Round 1 team shuffle happens.

Hello Everyone

My team looks a bit vanilla and I have noticed no love for J.Impey or S.Draper, are these really bad picks or have people missed them?

Being a Tigers tragic, I ask myself to Dusty or Not to Dusty and always select him.

It might be my blinkers but if Dion Prestia can get through a preseason without injury, he represents value.

Considering the game is going back to normal quarters, being an endurance type player this will suit his game.

In 2019 he played 22 games and averaged 101.3, it just seem Prestia finds new and inventive ways to injure himself.

I have bored everyone enough, have a wonderful Festive Season...

His name just popped into my head for some reason.
Yeh I think Hately and Milera are the value at the Crows this year. Can throw Laird in there if he is playing midfield. Think Milera moves up to the wing with Hamill and McPherson coming through last year. Mitch Hinge sounds like he is recruited to break the lines off halfback aswell.

Would have Milera as close to Crouch & Laird hip pocket as possible if I was coaching the Crows.

Excitement machine , has the ability to make things happen.

Crouch , Laird , Milera in the centre square for me.

Keays did a reasonable run with role last season , just lacks that initial instinct when he has the ball.

Liked Hamill last season except for 2-3 concussion games.

Smith on one wing , Sloane on the other

Interesting 13 keepers and 16 rookies and Pruest. Not sure how many rookies will play , might be a year you have 16 keepers to start.

Looks good to me. Very GnR, which I see as a positive. Equally a rookie at M5 is quite light. I’d consider downgrading a def or fwd and strengthening M5 and perhaps spreading the cash out a fraction more. Lots of good premo picks though in my view, and a structure that is quite good to work with (especially with a Heppell or two in there somewhere).

Thoughts are dunkley to butters and ryan to witherden depending on preseason positional form. That frees up the cash to upgrade M5.
