Hey Herbie, I've checked the Observer and they're the dates, but no one else has updated to these dates. I see they received their accreditation yesterday to hold test, odi and T20 cricket, so may take a couple of days to trickle through if in fact the original dates have changed. Can't shed anymore light on this one yet.

ICC site , CricBuzz , Wikipedia all have the original dates.

ACB have no dates at all.

I might have to find out where the Renegades and Strikers are staying (normally down at Glenelg) and go for a walk tomorrow and ask Rashid & Nabi if they know what's going on 😀

I certainly am not a expert

The good thing about your side is you already have Hales , Maxwell , Sams & Stoinis who people are scrambling to get in.

Carey & Philippe are premiums.

Bryant , Khawaja , Milne all have DGR in Round 8 then can be upgraded.

Tye has a DGR in Round 10.

So in my opinion the best way to raise $$$ to afford 2-3 upgrades is :-

Short - > Livingstone

You then keep your 6 other premiums and then have $$$ to improve 2 of Bryant , Khawaja , Milne in Round 9.

You have a strong team with some decents PODs

You seam to look like you know what your doing for future rounds which hopefully fires you into the top 100

Hopefully Livingston fails tomorrow night so people don’t bring him in

If a wicket falls during the opening of Khan’s spell I expect Nabi will be elevated up the order to combat Rashid.

Couple of poor decisions last round cost me , but back on track this round (so far)

I try and trade with 2-3 rounds in mind as well.

Have $$$ so flexibility when trading.

Just had a quick look , not sure if Hatzoglou plays tonight or not

Handscomb , Rainbird , Fletcher (possible rain) , Larkin (possible rain) could even give you a extra $ 10-15 to use in Round 9.

Trade Hatz to any of them via Renshaw.

Essentially you are looking at these as a bench player.

Think Fawad & Hardie increase too much.

Wouldn’t be surprised, I really should have kept Nabi and sold Smarsh, lost so much cash of late I felt I had to do it so will be watching from behind the couch

I have 4-5 Heat and 2 Stars players in that game even before trades. Why bother ever planning for DGRs?

Afghan national team is set to travel to UAE today where they will play a three-match ODI series against Ireland later this month as part of the ICC ODI league.

The national team, therefore, will not travel to Oman, where they were scheduled to hold the series due to UAE Visa restrictions earlier. As part of the ICC ODI league matches, the series between both teams was initially scheduled to be hosted at UAE.

However, due to visa restrictions by UAE in the wake of COVID-19, ACB planned to have Oman as the alternate venue.

Fortunately, the UAE Authorities granted visas to Afghan players and relevant officials later last night and the decision was taken to reschedule the series in UAE.

It shall also be noted that the decision to reschedule the series was taken partly also because of Cricket Ireland’s concerns about the bio-bubble facilities in Oman which were relatively satisfactory for them in UAE. Afghanistan Cricket Board had applied for UAE visas in late November, which was delayed due to reasons mentioned above.

Consequently, the hurdles may result in the series being postponed by three to four days than originally scheduled.
