Round 10 still comes back to haunt me. Picked Sams over Maxwell thinking the first doubles game was going to get rained out or severely impacted. Maxwell gets 180 Sams gets 21 and after losing over 1.6 K in rankings he is now injured! I'm not going to over think things again. Lessons learned for next year!

. I am sure it was an administrative error at the time. Wouldnt mind taking the punt on Travis considering Sams is out of action.
Sams has been a full saga for me for several rounds now.
Wanted him round 7, decided against (can't remember why, might have brought Hales in instead). Had a good batting performance but got concussed. Decent score left on the table but then ruled out of both games in round 8, where he was the only obvious captaincy choice. That (and bad weather for the Heat's first game) led me to back in Hales, who tanked and was outscored by every sensible Heat option.
Round 9 I wanted to pick whichever of Christian and Sams was batting first. This was reported incorrectly by multiple sources at the toss, so I brought in Christian and lost 88 points. Finally got him this round and he's gotta go again.

At least Adelaide play Brisbane tomorrow so if Head , Labuschagne , Neser & Swepson are cleared to play I will assume Abbott & Henriques can play on Friday.

Other than the fact that Paine's the test captain (for now at least), is there any reason for the Canes to pick him? Even when he was trying to turn himself into more of a T20 specialist before his test callup Paine was a bit limited. It would also really put them in a bind with the inconsistent Short as their 5th bowler. If that goes wrong they're stuck with David or Wade trying to get away with a couple of overs.
