Out of your starting team in Rd1 who do you still have in your team?
Philippe & Christian have gone the distance for me.
Started with Maxwell & Zampa, and after being out of my side, they are back in.
The rest has been a revolving door.o_O
Only max for me.

Started Fletcher, DC, Lynn, Cartwright, Jacks, Max, Hussain, Ellis, NCN, Stoinis and D, Short.... looking at that team perhaps I should never have traded? (except for Jacks and Hussain I could have had a decent zombie team)

From my reading of the article it would be similar to the AFL draft.

International players would nominate the period they were available then it would be up to the francises to 'draft' the players they want, it was indicated that draft order would be the reverse of this years BBL ladder.

It also indicated there would be some kind of 'selection matching' similar to AFL where a long standing player (such as Khan) at one franchise, then that francise would have the ability to 'match' an offer on a player o prevent them going to another francise.

I guess more will be know if and when it goes ahead.
Oh ok , sounds like it could be complicated though if players are only going to be here for short periods of the competition , whether you still use a high draft pick on them if they are here for a limited time.

From memory I think Archer might have been the other one on a multi year deal , so not sure how it would work if he & Curran were already committed to a club long-term , although assuming Archer is in the Ashes Squad he won't be playing again next season anyway.

Just looking at Head's bowling from the last BBL:
Overs: 4, 0, 1, 1, 0, 2, 2, 1

Could be hit hard by the new 3 overs for ER bonus rule.
Wouldn't think those picking him would be relying on him bowling 3+.

More hoping he gets a wicket.

Bowling points would be a bonus.

Career ER of 8.63 as well.

12 of his 29 T20 wickets have been at Adelaide Oval though.

As I said a little earlier, if one of Briggs or O'Connor doesnt get named in the XI, Head's a good chance to get a decent bowl.
So they will still go 4+1.

Head will bowl himself no doubt , at least 1 , maybe 2.

If Siddle plays they more than likely go Agar , Briggs , Neser , Siddle.

5th bowler will then be Conway , O'Connor or Worrall.

Thats with Khan there though (but not Briggs) i'd be picking him for batting, bowling just a little safety net
Two overs from Head or Livo types is still handy. Unlikely to get the ER (potentially even if they bowl 3) but a definite chance to pick up a sneaky wicket and dot ball pts, like Livo did, as batsman look to score off the part timer.

Yep

Hence why I wrote "bowling points would be a bonus"

I cant decide on this last trade. I'm not far off just trading Ussie to Siddle (if siddle is named) and then holding Sams for next round and trading him to NCN then.

I don't think Short is worth it. I can only see DC's opportunity going down as the test squad returns. Cutting isn't bowling much.

Didn't know that, always thought if they played then they counted even if they score a 0.
Opens up possibilities if you have a dud E early in the rd
Post 2 , front page.

If you don't set 3 from the first game I thought it locked you out from then selecting another E (sure that happened to me in AFL SC) , but no reason you can't say swap from WK line to a second E on bat or bowl line.
