Scorchers:
Roy: Has form in major finals, and I'll be backing him tonight. Feel like he and Livo will just get the job done and entertain the masses tonight. If he gets through Bartlett's first over, I don't see him getting out before the 10th. Sneaky C option if you're feeling game.
Livingstone: Has shown what he can do recently, and at Manuka with the smaller square boundaries he will be scary. Remember he was doing it with absolute ease playing there against the Sixers before the dreaded wicket surge was taken. If anyone is going to score 100 in this finals series, its this man at Manuka. Will be plonking the C on this man and riding the rollercoaster.
Munro: Has form against the Heat with an 82 in the first match they played against them. Think he plays an important part in rebuilding or capitalising after the openers efforts. Probably a great safety pick if you do select both Scorchers' openers.
Marsh: An avoid for me, but can see the upside if you wish to go with him. Should bash Marnus if he gets the opportunity to face him again.
Inglis: As a keeper batting at 4, he's got lots of upside. The fact he keeps to a pretty good bowling attack also creates opportunity to reduce the chance of a really low score as well. He's a safe bet if you are debating whether to choose him or a middle order batsman.
Turner: This would be the big POD people are considering for tonight. If you are fading the Scorchers' openers or Lynn, I'd consider getting Turner into your team. Yes his form hasn't been where you would like it it to be, but he hit 33 off 22 the other night and 18 off 9 in his 2nd last game before the finals series. Believe he could be the Scorcher's smoky for a 40+ score tonight.
Hardie: Not big on this guy, and would've been likely to be dropped if Marsh was bowling. Has only bowled 3 overs in the past two games and suspect we will see something similar tonight. Avoid for me.
Richardson: Whilst his record hasn't been great at Manuka, I reckon there's a chance he snag 2 tonight and at a decent ER. Can't see the Heat trying to take him on, but if they do, he'll definitely be amongst the wickets. Safer C option than most.
Tye: I've been tossing up between Dorf and Tye the whole time and I think its going to be a toss decision. Dorf if the Scorchers bowl first, Tye if the Scorchers bowl 2nd. Feel like Tye will get the junk points when the Scorchers go large in the first innings.
Behrendorff: Scored well bar the last match vs the Sixers. Risky pick in so far as he doesn't bowl at the death, but could easily get 1-2 wickets early with ER points bowling up front where the Heat will not want to lose wickets early.
Fawad: Great bowler, hasn't performed where I would've liked recently. I'm a bit gun shy and won't be picking him tonight as I suspect a fresh pitch has been prepared, but if you're backing a POD in, Fuzzy is your man.
