You can easily justify Heeney over TT.

If Heeney averages 90-95 which is in his wheelhouse, he could easily be a good F6.

If Taranto averages 100-105 he's a compromised M8.
Gee you must have have some good M8's in the past ;), I thnk if you pick a guy for $450k at the start of the year and he plays 20-21+ and goes 100-105, then I would personally rate that as a huge win.

I know you don't intend picking a M8 at the start of the year, but an M8 that goes 100-105 would be much better that some of the M8's I have had over the years

Couldn’t get a game last year (bar one) ahead of Ratugolea in the forward line with Hawkins, nor as a ruckman when Fort and Stanley were injured at times. With Jeremy Cameron’s arrival I can’t see his chances of consistent games improving at all unfortunately. They also have Kreuger who was named EMG a few times last year and was not far off breaking in, in that similar forward/ruck role.
Thanks for that. I didn't pay much attention to him last year as I assumed he was injured but it looks like he is indeed quite a way down the ladder of hopeful starters for the year.

Getting closer to that 0-0-8 that we know you want to start. ;)
Wrong end , Heeney will definitely be in my side.

If Ziebell , Daniher , Impey all implode in the same round their will be SC chaos.

Lloyd + 7 certainly has possibilities though

DGB , Cox , Reid , Chapman , Jones , Gould , Koschitze , McLennan , Worrell , Highmore , Wehr , Chugg , Laurie etc etc just need a rookie D/M to be named to link with Laird in the mids

In all honesty though just need to lock in Carlton , Collingwood , Richmond , Western Bulldogs players and then let the remaining rookies decide our starting structures , chase the rookies where they are named.

Tigers supporters, talk to me about Shai Bolton.

Where does he play this season? Is he likely to go 95 or above?
That also my current selection decision.

Had a good run last year with the regular MIDS from the tigers missing large chunks of the season. This is my main concern on Bolton this year. Brilliant player but does he need to wait 1 to 2 more years to get regular mid time.?

I had him to start but have since change to Dunkley. Which could also change.??

I’m huge in shai but I’m starting safe guys this year.
Last year I had too many could be players and I put shai in that category. Like yes he will average 90+ imo but I’m picking the sure thing in dusty

He’s naturally getting better. Is in a contract year and has improved his average the last 2 years from 70-86-? I can only see it going up. Prestia and Cotchin never play full seasons, so the midfield opportunity will be there and his body is filling out nicely looking at the training camp they went on last week!

He’s part of the next wave of premiums forging their way into our teams. In the coming years I can see
Brayshaw walsh cerra Rowell Simpkin Bolton the clugg McGrath baz smith Noah Anderson butters Bailey rozee Rayner Draper English lukoscious bowes
it’s just a matter of getting it right when they properly break out into that 100+ to 110+ range
some of them have already shown that 100 mark walsh/brayshaw and will only improve you’d think.

Hmm some more news relevant to Dunkley. No Treloar in the pre-season game makes it even more difficult to understand how the Doggies mids will line up.

https://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/news/863063

Star midfielder Adam Treloar is being managed in his first pre-season at the Western Bulldogs due to some persistent calf tightness.
“With Adam’s history of soft tissue injuries, we’re taking a conservative approach with him at this stage of the pre-season,” head of sports medical, Chris Bell, said.
“We have been proactive with managing Adam’s calf tightness over the past fortnight. His recovery is progressing and we anticipate he will return to full training over the next couple of weeks.”
Treloar remains on track for the Bulldogs’ AFL season-opener against his former side, Collingwood, on March 19.

If you pick Zac Guthrie you are in for a painful, painful year. But let's hope he can raise the bat faster than bro
Actually with Lloyd + 7 you don't really need the cheap DPP link (Bianco might be a chance) , Laird as a mid offers "security" , could also be 2-3 D/F options that could work if selected and start them forward.

Just a matter of shuffling the deck chairs around.
