Any Collingwood supporters able to confirm what the expected ruck set up will be? Will it be Grundy one out with Cox for a few minutes.
Keen to understand if using Cameron last year to take a larger chunk of the ruck work will happen again. Everyone seems to be locking Grundy in as a certain improver this year but thought it might be worse digging into it a little further. At over 50% ownership maybe it is worth taking him on
@Herbie66
I am no chance of rucking now , too short for the modern game 😀
I don't follow training reports as much as most but bits and pieces I read sounds like it will be Cameron/Cox fighting for one spot , with Checkers & Young Ned the 2 mobile marking options , although I don't think the latter played yesterday.
Think Cox is better for our forward structure personally but Cameron actually looks better in the ruck.
Lynch's name has popped up as well.
I am still of the belief that Grundy was playing injured last year although nothing has come out and obviously I have no medical information to back it up.
Think our clearances will suffer without BBQ (so that would affect Grundy's HTA scores) plus I think the opposition put a lot more time into Grundy's ruck work.
I don't think he is a clear cut R2 as most assume either , think ROB is fast closing the gap.
