Just my current draft could easily change, just not sure we will get more than 3 mid rookies.

Really hoping I’m wrong.
I think we should get Powell and Downie. May or may not be bench mid rookies available. Hopefully Gulden can be one bench rookie and we can get 1 of ESmith/Cockatoo. I may start Cockatoo as a FD to play if no other mid bench rookies are available

Just had a quick read of the match report from North’s praccy and Powell was talked up a bit, sounds promising. Thought he looked a bit to light to play straight away but if he’s named he will go to m8 for sure.

Current draft

D6 - A rookie who, as yet, doesn't exist.
M8 - C. Downie
R2 - M. Flynn (let's be honest, it will end up Grundy because I'm gutless!)
F6 - Cahill

If the D6 doesn't come it will be Cox and an extra FWD rookie instead such as Rowe.

Thinking Rowe could be a slow burn trap.
He's got as good a schedule as you could hope for to start the season.

Cats for one game of price changes then Sydney, GC, North, Freo and Hawthorn. I'm not sure you could create a better run than that for a forward in a bad side.

Do agree though, it's not a good role for fantasy purposes but not all the rookies need to play on field or make cash by round 6, almost better to have a couple of slow burn with JS types for timing purposes!
