Must say the scores where he attended more CBA's also had me worried about his sc scoring per minute and will be watching to see how he goes this week.

As you noted, one game he tagged Bont to 110. The poor 85 game was versus St Kilda, one of the harder teams to score against. Duggan also played mids against Saints and had a poor game, plus a few good premiums had poor scores although they were probably tagged.

Full time mids, training with mids should all help his scoring, Mills is not a big unit like Cripps/Bont//Fyfe so expect he may average well yet have a good dispersion in scores. In my side for Duggan for now as 5th defender, first to go if rookies turn up given his price and lack of history like Laird Stewart and others.
Mills is a pretty big unit, has handled playing KPD without issues at times, more than handled Bont when tagging him (basically bullied him from the ball), he's not as big as those 3 but not many are (KP included!) and he's hard as nails. The physical side of things is one of the reasons I like him so much as a midfielder, the elite kicking is the cherry on top.

Basically I think the midfield role will be perfect for him and that's he absolutely capable of pushing towards 115+ for mine. Really my only worry with picking him is Horse not playing him in the midfield as I think basically all the stuff that applies to Lloyd as doubts also apply to him from last year although if he's not playing midfield my hopes of us improving kind of go out the window a bit! Just think he's overpriced as a defender and underpriced as a midfielder but given the talk, the role on the weekend and his ability, it all makes sense and you have to take a punt somewhere. It's always possible that he's fairly priced as a defender also, so could be a case where you just get what you paid for.

When you avoid the contest at all costs it's not that surprising, pretty unlucky to get hurt at what are basically training drills

What if I have him in my team and still complain about this because I also have to have him in my real life team? :(
That will be an interesting post. Celebrating and castigating Sir Jake all at once....”castibrating“.

I look forward to that and will consider my response at the time.

What’s your predicted average of Lloyd and your replacement types like Daniel/Stewart?

Fwiw I have Lloyd at likely 115 with 110 as a minimum.

Daniel/Stewart at both 100.
Also worth mentioning how eerily similar the last three seasons from Oliver and Lloyd have been......

Oliver: 2018 - 114.7, 2019 - 109.4, 2020 - 122.2

J Lloyd: 2018 - 112, 2019 - 108.9, 2020 - 122.2

I know which one I'd much rather at my team... Kind of shows how the SC system can be broken.
Oliver has been my boy for a while now, traded him in early on in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and then started him for the first time last year. Lloyd I have traded in the past 4 years as well, but I've never started him. Matter of preference or taste I guess.

I meant real life team

Lloyd has been a far better SC pick given positional value. Pretty sure I've started Oliver the last 5 years, it's actually weird that I haven't really considered him still this season.

In another eerily similar note scoring for both players is heavily impacted by their kicking, just in different ways.

If Clarry could actually kick long even just a bit more often and be a bit effective by foot in general then he'd have a good show at blowing everyone else out of the water in SC.

Is anyone else a bit depressed about Zac attack potentially getting rubbed out for a week after that stupid decision to leave his feet and bump in the first 10 seconds of last night's game?
He was looking like a good value pick for our starting teams.

Ironic that if he does miss, plenty will replace him with the bloke that he bumped.

Actually kind of like it, was wavering on picking him but he's so popular that he can be incredibly dangerous to not have if he does actually back up his ability and go 105+.

Shame he's in the first game as he'd otherwise have had great value as a round 1 donut which would have actually made him very interesting if a back rookie had, first existed and then, scored well.
