Nothing has been said but he looks completely fine so if I had to guess, I'd say there is a group of players who are ripe for round 1 and were only ever going to play 3 quarters.. but rather than have them all miss the 4th, Scotty boy is doing one of his random "genius" moves and giving some of them the 3rd quarter off. I just hope he spent it on the bike to stay warmed up!
Edit: As I was typing this he just took a kick in and charged out at full speed.. looks absolutely fine so wouldn't be worried at all about the 3rd quarter.
Yep! DPP.. handy link with Laird (especially for those starting Laird as a mid, but also vice versa).. it's shaping up as a good story.
Heppell really worried me tonight too. First time I've been able to watch him in this new role and it felt like the injury layoff is going to take him a while to work his way back from. Seemed off the paced and a lot of his disposals were dump kicks out of the backline that I can't see scoring super highly. Won't have the contested intercept marks like a Ziebell type too.. feels like a serious trap.. and avoiding that could be better than the defender part or cash!
I get the feeling there are going to be plenty of 80-95 scores from Caldwell this year. He looks to have the role but I’m still to be convinced he can score at a keeper level.

DPP and is capable of averaging around the high 80 to low 90 range which would be great at his starting price and could be kept all season as a F7/M9 if possible.

I was actually really surprised Caldwell scored as well as he did - possibly benefitted from some handy disposals when the game was on the line late?
He screams to me as one of those players that isn't quite scoring badly enough that it needs to be fixed immediately but is leaking a few too many points to the better picks in that position. If you have him in your team tonight probably wouldn't change your mind too much.. but I wouldn't reorganise my team to bring him in.
As a bombers supporter I think he's a great get and his work feeding the ball out to the likes of Merrett etc will be invaluable, but I'm not convinced this will translate to a SC relevant role until at least next season.

DPP the only reason I am considering him. Green is my mid speculative but could ditch him depending on his game this week. As BR says, Clark in opens up loads of structures - no longer 5/0/1 in Def.
