Shame about the injuries, shocking way to start the season. Fyfe and H.Young did enough for me to pick themselves in my side.
Young looks considerably bulkier, matured a lot in one extra pre season. His skills are sublime, he actually missed a couple of kick tonight that he would normally nail, but otherwise super solid game.

Yeah I think that's a potential concern for sure, Ryan is obviously one of the main facilitators out of defence. There's some risk attached to a pick like this of course.
In saying that I think there is enough ball to go around for Young to carve out a juicy role for himself even with Ryan in the team. A player like this you get the ball in their hands he's that damaging.

Real possibility both Meek and Treacy play round 1. On top of the Walters and Lobb injuries, theres probably another 4-5 guys under injury clouds. So picking a 22 right now isn't the easiest task.
But recent reports suggest Darcy won't be ready and Lobb is obviously out. Someone needs to pinch hit, and I'd rather we didn't risk someone like Cox or Tabs for that role.
Cox looks awesome in defence, I'd hate to see us throw him forward again. I would say both Meek and Traecy is a genuine chance, and Fyfe would need to go for stints forward as expected.
Ultimately comes down to who's available.
