I get that WB aren't going to dominate the midfield like this all the time but does this punch a hole in the "they'll take points off each other" narrative? All their big guns are over 100 at 3QT and they seem very adept at making sure their prime movers get the ball as often as possible.
Practice match I think don’t draw big conclusions from it. Don’t totally ignore it either with this new rule change.

I'm super interested in the way the play seems to benefit those inside/outside mids like people have mentioned, more than the pure in-the-guts types.

Has me looking at starting Jelly/Macrae types instead of Petracca/Oliver/Cripps types :unsure:
Is it just this game, or other preseason games, that the play seems to benefit the inside/outside mids?
If it is a trend with the new rules, then that is something that needs more thought.

Not sure, but Dunks and Bont have had 20 and 15 CPs respectively. And Daniel and Macrae have had 35 touches at good DE. So that sounds about normal to me.
