I’m going to take the liberty of doing a spot of recruiting for my prestigious Shake’n’Bake league. Finished 15th overall last year and I have one open spot remaining. I’ve got 2 proper Premo’s and 2 “up and comers” with 2 rookies on field.

I just went from 3 up to 4, and am wondering whether that is enough.

Some smart coaches seem to be planning for the worst on the defence rookies.

Only 4 days and 5 hours until the first Lockout of the season.... My team is taking shape, but I still have 3 players with the “injury” icon and selection / JS uncertainty around many of my rookies and mid pricers and only 5k in the bank. Hoping for some good news during the week regarding early rookie debut announcements and resolution of injury concerns .... if not, it could be a chaotic weekend on the team selection front for team Ricky Bobby 😳

How is everyone else shaping up?

Only 4 days and 5 hours until the first Lockout of the season.... Feeling pretty settled with my team. Haven’t made a change since Monday.

I will rely on several of the cheap rookies but I am expecting all of the current cheapies in my team to be named.

Jordan Clark is the only player in my team that I’m a bit iffy on but I think if he’s named round 1 then I’ll pick him.

Looking forward to Thursday night. Foooooty!!

Atkins is an interesting one. I haven’t given him any thought as I’ve been more focussed on solving problems in Def and it looks like there are plenty of Fwd rookies. I will keep an eye on him now to see how he goes for you.

Clark is the pivot point in my team too. If he isn't named then I will have two trades to do before rolling lockout causes issues. Otherwise team seems settled. Given up on trying to get more than 12 keepers.

Have the nucleus, but far from settled.

Main decision to make is a strategy one on how to set up my rucks, which I'm very much undecided on atm.
