Got rid of Dow and brought in N.Cahill to free up about 40k in cash for me to correct other rookies in the chance they don't get named (i.e. Downie, Brockman, Sharp)!!
Hope I don't regret it! I hope Essendon allow Cahill time to get into his role properly!

Next to none

Draft profile suggests to me he'd have been picked as a small forward if he's named and given their injuries and relative stability down back. I believe there's meant to be a lot of rain over east so maybe a guy who'd come in for Darcy in that event?

Believe he's played off HB predominantly though at lower levels.

hey mate, based on your super rookie analysis and the quoted post above from yesterday, let's say if H.Sharp does get named to debut for Brisbane, would you consider having him on your defence bench? Not sure about how his JS would be.

The only way I could fit in H.Sharp is to downgrade P.Dow to someone like a Ned Cahill or Bruhn from GWS. My current D8 is A.Fyfe.
Ahhhhh I'm about 12k short of affording Sharp! And not too keen on downgrading any other rookies except Dow at this stage!!

Sharp if picked would go to the top of the list to be honest. He looked great. Worry is he's still in HS so could go in and out around that a bit. Endurance wise he's already in the top .1% of the AFL, physically he's got a lot of size to add but he can run like very few who've ever played AFL and that will be his entire game to start out with.

Part of our Next Gen academy. Skillful little defender, was surprised to see him retained so the club must see something in him. Has shown a bit this preseason but can't see him debuting any time soon though? But given injuries and the fact he is in the 25, maybe I am wrong? haha

Interesting they only flew 25 with Taberner with back spasms and Darcy underprepared.

I guess if need be they could fly extra players tomorrow if needed.
