Why does Grundy's score affect people's decisions on Gawn ?

Completely different style of player.

Rucks in general haven't shown much in 2021.

it’s not his style but game style..not seeing the rolling maul for ruckman just to slowly track ball around the ground and less boundary line.

I took the complete pre season off and did 2 days research. Not sure if there are any trends or I’m just making it up. Of course the aim would be have Gawndy just don’t want to start them if game style is compromising easy points.

Game style will change rapidly

Teams that have poor kicking skills , incorrect/poor decision making will get absolutely slaughtered if they try and play Kamikaze pinball style football.

Won't take long before teams have to slow it down.

Always thought Grundy's biggest asset was his ability to link up as a extra mid and loves a cuddle , seems lacking.

Teams were working out his hitting zone at stoppages last season and sharking his hit outs.

Aside from Gawn's ruckwork obviously his main asset is dropping back behind the ball and marking so if indeed he does play forward more be interesting to see the effect on his scores.

No matter what though , regardless of rule changes , **** footballers with poor skills will never improve.

I actually think he has looked quite lively. A couple of red hot frees against and coughed it up a few times but at least he has got his hands on it. Much prefer him over Henry.
