I don't think I am - reports that he's has his strongest pre-season in a long time and has been working hard on his running is as enticing as it gets for a bloke who cruises a lot of the time and still averages 100 as am SC forward.

The new rules are made for Dusty as well if he's now covering the ground better, as we know he's lethal by foot anywhere on the ground.
He looked in absolutely ripping nick in the aami game, was doing alot of chasing and pressure work in that game as well which he usually doesn't care about in pre-season as well.

What people don't realise is that Dusty has explosive pace off the mark.
He ran away from a lot of players who looked like they were treading water.

If you mean Fantasia, you can't lock something made of blu-tak.

Seriously, though, I have considered him. If picked you just have to hope he makes some money before he breaks down, which will require a few big games, amongst some low scores. Definitely not a lock, but could be worth the risk. Depends on your structure, too.
True....not the most reliable selection but 6 games would be good. Also trying to fit Atkins into the FWD line.

No players from the opening game for my side. Both Oliver and Fyfe spent a large portion of the preseason in my midfield but have recently been replaced by Neale and Macrae over the past week.

S May (new recruit), H Young, A Brayshaw (Freo) and C Petracca involved from a draft perspective to provide some interest for the early match.

I'm surprised you think Taranto. I thought he relied on stoppages for tackles.
I'm thinking Macrae, Zerrett, Jelly, Walsh.
Does anyone else have any thoughts?
Another I've considered but am unsure of is McLuggage.
Rather than outscoring the stoppage kings it might just be a flattening of the curve.
You just named my starting midfield :)

Taranto is a spread player, backing that in. You want to be in the main midfield mix to get the CBA and around stoppages that do happen but being able to spread is vital based on the first couple of games.

Unlikely. Races need to worry about future races and horses are a lot more prone to leg injuries. Giants Stadium gets resurfaced after the show anyway, and I've seen games played in worse conditions. It's just whether it's considered safe for the players.
Would take lightning basically.

This is a strong FOMO game potential for me. No Gawn, Oliver, Young, Fyfe, May or Petracca, who've all spent time in my team or plans at some point! Throw in Ryan who never worked his way in and Brayshaw (x2) and Serong and there's a lot of players I've at least peaked at.

All about Jordon and Meek somehow
