Merrett - If only all the quarters could be odd numbered? Basically scored 100 in 2 quarters and next to nothing in the other two. Got stuck on the bench for way too long for an established senior player, he probably benefited from being on the bench for pretty much all of the Hawks goals in the 3rd, was actually fascinating to watch the assault and just wonder "where is their best player" as you watch his TOG% just dropping the whole time and get the answer.

I've noticed this a bit unfortunately in this first round, due to less stoppages and the frantic pace of the games... Star players are getting caught on the bench for long periods. It's having an affect on players scores unfortunately.

They simply kicked straight 8.0 to 1.4 in the third quarter. Its amazing what happens when you do that.

The expensive Neale, Gawn, Grundy not providing hurts.

Similar to me with Gulden and A Fyfe can become the non-player for the Capt Loop and gain around 100 SC pts.

But will we need all the CCs we can get to be playing, to make enough money to complete our team?
(Even though some CCs have scored high, others have not).

Looking like we will have a possible non-player for the Capt. loop in Rd2 with the reports so far (Cox, Daniher, Dangerfield), so maybe not important to get a non-player for the Capt Loop?

The BIGGEST concern I have, is it worth wasting a trade for?

The loop seems valuable with rookies scoring well.

I actually will get Oea as a 102k M/F - can loop guys like Warner/Rowe/Campbell/Berry going forward

I didn’t have a loop otherwise and feel like I need to trade McNeil out anyway. Works in my circumstances.

Hi Connoisseur, was hoping you could direct me to where I can find distance covered by then players during the game.


My bad, still distress from the 2 hundreds from sitting bench rookies.

Yes Rowe and Warner.


Been awake since 4am reviewing games looking at scoring trends against positions, plotting trades ....think I have a SC issue.

All good , I think many of us have a SC issue 😀

I never thought about fielding Gulden or Rowe (so maybe that is poor judgement by me) , doubt too many would have expected Rowe to score 50+.

Be interesting if they can now back up those scores.

Will set down tonight and look at my options , I think if Danger gets 2+ I will need to trade.

Funny as the ruck situation has been so far I think Gawn and Grundy owners have a advantage if they wait a week to access Round 2 scores , lot easier to trade down to correct (if required) than going up from the rookie Rucks.

Pretty disappointing round so far. Scoring seems to be extremely even across the board in terms of player scores.

Currently on 18/1792 got Powell,Flynn,Bergman to play. Had dusty as my loop hole and Kozi from hawks to take a.fyfe spot.

Is A Fyfe the mid choice for a donut (re Gulden) because of the price? And the D/F? Is he likely to get a game in the future or is it pure donut for the season? Z Trew is a pure mid but will play this season I think so is a good FDTP. Just curious.
