To be honest I am not sure why he is not highly regarded by more people , I know it doesn't necessarily translate to SC points but he was the runner up in the Brownlow Medal last season.

Powell looks be playing exclusively as a half fwd, have not seen him at any centre clearances or stoppage situations.

That was my very query on him during the week.

Even more so with Anderson , Cunning & Dumont missing today.

Just need to see if their are better options available.

If anyone's getting too excited about Fantasia, look at Motlop's scoring at Port to cool off.

My thinking was that he's turning 33 this year and is coming off back to back career best years in SC. That's hard to keep up.

He's not a flashy player, he's very workmanlike... and also plays in a team that's not very well liked outside of Adelaide, I'd say that plays a bit in him flying under the radar.

If he played in Melbourne he'd get way more attention.... Fantastic player.

Ultimate professional , listening to the media over the summer , he lifted his preparation to another level again.

Think he and his teammates are very hungry for a flag.

Obviously 21.5 games to go so hopefully continues on.

Has been talk of resting/rotating some of their older players though so will need to be careful.
