Henry dropped so I’m looking to get him out this week to free up a trade if I need to make any corrections or big trades next week (Neale/Gawn).
Safe on Henry to Warner? Or should I look at Bergman or Jones as another option?

I can't comment on the others but I can assure you Brockman is not getting dropped anytime soon (in case some are thinking of using him as a loophole)
Yeah, I can't see Brockman getting dropped.

Brockman kicked 2 goals in a winning side and is a rookie.

I mean from a SuperCoach point of view with 22 points (ouch for me starting him on ground) he looks bad but from an AFL point of view, he kicked 2 goal in a winning side. Would be shocked if Brockman was dropped.

He might have kicked two goals, but he was pretty ordinary around the ground and made a number of glaring mistakes. It also looked like he's not that great at applying pressure (ie. going too hard and giving away frees or not applying any pressure at all) but it might have just been a solid dose of debutant nerves so we'll see how that is viewed at selection.

Given that the Swans and Hawks games are too far apart this weekend the above is probably the main reason why I'm going to sit on bringing Gulden in until next week. Hoping we'll get some clear indication of whether he is in or out of the starting 22 before that, but it's not likely at this stage.

Also considering holding him as a looping candidate even if he is dropped, as the Hawks play their next 5 games on Sunday which would be useful (but I'd need to find another way to Gulden then).

Have no loops at the moment (Excluding Danger)

Am running
Highmore (Kosi and Sharp(E))
Dow and Gulden (Berry, Powell(E), Scott)
Flynn and Meek (Hunter)
Campbell and Rowe (Warner and Brockman)

Feel free to start any from my bench as they will likely go large. Considering Dow(E) and Cripps(VC), and if both succeed, will keep Danger and C him

I didn't mind what I saw from Brockman, he's one of those players I think tat can have a big spike game and make some money. The type of guy that'll ton up when on your bench and hit below 30 when on your field.
the 22 does look bad - but pretty bloody sure Brockman will not be dropped anytime soon. He's exactly what our team needs.

Henry looked out of place on an AFL field at this stage of his career. I'm honestly surprised Finn Macrae didn't get a debut before him but I guess that comes down to team composition etc.

Zero chance of getting dropped.

I have a dilemma. All my rookies are playing I don't have loop. Is it crazy to trade a playing rookie (Brockman/sharp) to a non plying loop rookie? I just assumed one of my rookies would be duds and I would use as loop but it seems I've nailed the rookies.

Thoughts?

Nah I wouldn’t be doing that at this stage I don’t think. Be happy with having all your rookies playing, back yourself to select a correct C this week and the right on field rookie. Unless say Grundy tonight as an example went 200 and you wanted to lock that in as VC, then maybe I’d consider. But otherwise, I don’t think it’s worth the trade for maybe a 20 point game on a rookie loop, removing a 40 score for a 60 say.

See where your side at is after another week and how the rookies fall coming into Round 3 as a few experienced players start to come back from injuries picked up in the preseason.

That's what my guts says, thanks. With the unpredictability this year having two cracks at the captaincy is gold. Serves me right, should have just started non playing rookie
Edit: I did have Hawks Saunders and changed him to Jordan👍

Bit of a debate about which Lions player this is at Brisbane airport. Looks to me like it could be Deven Robertson. If that's the case another reason to hold off rookie trades this week.
