Preseason has Williams, Cripps, Walsh and Dow when someone on this forum said 'I have 5 Carlton players, is that too much, it is Carlton"

By the end of the game, there was none in the side! Realisation that if Carlton not winning, players scoring may not stack up, plus too many in the mids stealing points of each other.

Think Dow to Jordon is inevitable now.
Just hard to see the ceiling being quite high enough in the role / TOG mix.
Does some nice things and (at least to me as an external observer) seems to be making some progress, though.

Grundy is on 50 HO for 125 SC points?

Looks like it'll be 130-odd. A lot of his taps were getting directly sharked in the first half and he had a few clangers which didn't help his scoring.

He got better as the game wore on and we got better with at least halving the initial contest after the tap, rather than just letting the blues mids waltz away with the ball basically unopposed, so that probably cut down on the negative points he was racking up in comparison to that first half.

Slightly underwhelming score even at 132.

Grundy in previous years against a player of Pittonet's calibre is usually at least 140+ if not 150+. Especially with this many stoppages and a winning midfield.

Yeah. I'm wondering if that's a big score this year.

If he doesn't make finals this yesr, they might give him 1 more year, then go after Clarko.

Surely Teague is going to realise Cripps isn’t, hasn’t been and will never be a forward. Why let your side get slaughtered in the middle and continue to play your captain and best inside player in the 50 for large chunks of the game.

Either Cripps has a niggle or Teague is about as good a coach as Matthew Primus.

Good to know I'm not the only terrible tipster here, only 30% chose Collingwood to win that match in the poll, even as the betting favourites.

Grundy VC + Walsh was a nice game. 2/375 once I lock that in, not risking a 135 VC score after last week.
