Cripps only being 7 behind Walsh is an unbelievable result. Imagine what his score would be if he was ever around the ball!

Maybe if everyone is tired in the 4th there might be more stoppages and Cripps can do his thing.

I’ve never watched a ruckman closer than I have Grundy tonight. It looks as though a HTA only needs to be to a team mates possession and not disposal.

What else do you want the ruckman to do?

I believe therer is a scaling for the HTA, given where he puts the ball to allow decent disposal. However, once it's in the hands of his teammate, surely the teammate has the responsibility to use it correctly.

Late in the third where he dove on the ground ball, rolled around fighting then got it out the back to a Pies player for the clearance, other ruckmen just can't do those sort of things.

Just an observation

Delivery shouldn't be equated to reception. If player A hits the chest of player B, by hand or foot, they shouldn't be penalised due to player B not taking it cleanly and/or making a poor decision in their disposal henceforth.
