Let's not make Herbie any angrier. The post from @sgt5 below explains it really well.

Basically if there is a player you're definitely going to trade out (Danger) but he's playing early in the round (eg tonight), you can avoid the heartache of not knowing whether the guy you want has been selected by effectively "parking the trade" in another player (who plays later in the round) before choosing your desired player. You can only do this if you haven't also used your second trade.

I'm not game to try but I can't argue with the logic.
Hahaha i actually didn’t read it (got no time), just skimmed it and saw a commotion and fixed it.

Just tried it, works fine.
Before the round started, I traded Danger to Dunkley,
10mins ago, I traded Dunkley to Dusty and confirmed the trade and still only one trade used.
I then traded Dusty back to Dunkley and confirmed the trade, and now I still have one trade left.

Well at the moment I have to say his range is 85-90,, if he was listed as a forward I'd possibly keep but I can't watch a 'premium' midfielder in my team put in sub 90 scores week after week.
Just dawned on me who Cripps reminds me of.... Bloody Gus Brayshaw from 2019. and NT is right is was a painful year watching Gus underperform every week.

We have found a new way to waste a weekend.
Let us see how many times can we keep doing it. :devilish:

If Rowell is your only loopholing agent, then any score that you are happy to lock in as Captain from Neale. I'd suggest anything 120+ probably gets the job done.
Vc score of 110, plus opportunity cost of holding which is probably 40ppg over onfield rookie. I'm keeping Danger, but threshold is lower there because it will save me a trade.

Think I’m in it for the long haul with Cripps as I definitely feel he will turn it around. He was useless and looked horrible last night, yet still managed to score 80...

If he was 600k+ I would be more inclined to trade, but he is only 520k. Only reason I can see myself trading him is if Heppell goes large and looks like a must have.

Dow > Jordan is locked, so long as Jordan looks good again
My 2c on Cripps after watching live last night.

Preseason game v Bombers = plays well and all looks good. Shoulder which was operated on is fine, running well.

Official preseason game v Saints = starts well, slows down, moved forward with McKay off injured and does very little.

Monday after Saints game = goes in for mysterious scan which we never hear the results of. Difficult to get Carlton training info due to Ikon being locked up more tightly than normal due to Covid and the building renovations.

Last night = ok at stoppages with first effort. No power to take off for second or third efforts. Not running well at all. Appears incapable of jumping when forward and thus pretty ineffective. Also, body language suggests frustration, likely due to his inability to impact as he would like.

I don't have a medical degree, but it seems reasonably obvious doesn't it? From a Carlton perspective, I don't understand the need to play him in this condition. He is a liability. Just get Setterfield back in an inside role (useless doing what he was doing last night), or play Kennedy.

From a SC perspective, the question is how bad is it and when will it improve? Doubt we get an honest answer from the club. Teague is talking utter nonsense if he thinks Cripps has looked useful up forward.

I wonder what the revised top 10 would be; Fremantle seems to have performed the best!

It’s two games in only - not a big enough sample size. Rd 1, AFL website had him second best for blues behind Walsh. Every chance he tears a game apart in the next fortnight.

There’d be a bunch of guys well ahead a couple on this list... Oscar Allen (pick 21) and Liam Ryan (pick 26) to name a couple that spring to mind and that’s just Eagles
