If it's the one I think it was... sadly no because the umpire deemed the throw a handball and it went to a teammate so effective disposal which means not a tackle.

I remember reading this before but didn’t quite process it because it seemed so strange, seems like a very non-analytical method of judging a tackle, you tackle a skilled handballer and it’s not a tackle, you tackle a player who can’t handball and it is.

CD do a lot of good work but this is an example of them being ridiculous and not conducting good data (fools data - not champion data)

Their reliance on score involvements for the player rating system is another thing that is bizarre. Play in a good team and you’ll be a better player in the ratings. Sports analytics should be separating the player from their system, not combining the two
