Discussion 2021 Round 2: Teams & In Game Discussion

I have pretty much the same problem/dilemma as you.
I have Sharp as E on my bench. I put the VC on Gawn tonight, my donut is Briggs but if I put him on I get Sharps 20.
Onfield at the moment I have Kosi. I have the C on Macrae if Gawn failed tonight.
Question:
Am I better taking Gawn's 137, therefore also having to take Sharps 20 or
Taking a punt on Macrae C, leaving Kosi onfield in defence. I'm thinking Kosi probably won't do much better than Sharps 20 but should beat it, Macrae probably just go under Gawn's score. Which way would you go?
Sorry for the long-winded post, any opinions will be much appreciated.
Note: This round has been a disaster for me. I was tortured over who to trade Danger to between Titch or Zorko and bank another 86k, of course I went Zorko who then got shafted by the umpires & champion data. Today continued on with Rowe onfield. Cheers.

Should end up on a decent score. A bit like Marvin the Martian, I keep waiting for the earth-shattering ka-boom to come this round, but it hasn't happened yet (fingers crossed for once it doesn't!) - I've had plenty of good starts before end up with a mediocre score. I originally thought Green being dropped may have been the start of a colapse, but the 75 I got from Powell was probably better than he would have scored anyway!
Highly doubt it's any chance of the weekly, before anyone suggests it, I would need a lot to go my way to even get close, but it's one of the better scores I've seen this week across my leagues (so far - still 1/3 of the matches to be played). I'm sure there are plenty of much better scores out there. I'm just hoping to stay in contention for a decent overall rank after not even scoring 2000 in Rd 1!

Played: S Docherty, P Cripps, L Neale (VC), J Daniher, T Stewart, J Clark, R Sloane, R Laird, B Campbell, E Gulden, C Warner and J Ziebell
Yet to play: D Martin (new recruit), J Short, J Impey, J Macrae (C), C Daniel, J Dunkley, S Martin (new recruit), M Flynn, J Kelly and T Taranto.
Very pleased to have benched Rowe in favour of Warner and the Swans rookies are once again proving the goods for SC. Massive day in store tomorrow with the potential for another solid performance to build on my 2161 in RD1. Excited to see how the Martins fare tomorrow and whether my restructure down from Grundy will prove to be worthwhile in the coming rounds.

I can't believe there are so many coaches that benched Rowe, given a 104 in R1...unless you had a clear donut in the forward line.
Unfortunately I couldn't play any tricks on any line as all my rookies got selected this round! Sometimes blessings are a curse in disguise.
1437/14+C, only premiums to come, decent round so far. Rowe and Cripps the only real letdowns thus far. Hoping for Gawndy combo to claw back some points against those that ran with starting rookie rucks, especially Flynn.
