Not sure at this point. Want Dow gone - was looking at getting in Ziebell, but second guessing myself.

Most likely Cahill to Jordon, throw Campbell forward and Dow to Ziebell. Team below - I've got it wrong this year. Screenshot_20210328-210722.png Screenshot_20210328-210727.png

I don’t see Dow as your biggest issue.

Can you get Sharp/Cahill to Jordan/Impey?

Just on Gaff, at the game today I watched him a fair bit because I've got him in RDT, but I noticed that the new rules have pretty-much bypassed the need to have a number of loose outlet players from 40-70m out.

The entire defence gets pushed back at the kick-in so your back pockets and KPDs are at that area where the second kick used to go, which was generally to a wingman playing on the defensive half of the ground. That used to be Gaff's area where he won a lot of the footy, but now he's not needed nearly as much.

Basically he hasn't become obsolete, because teams are still using that kick, it's just far rarer that they do use it because the area is generally packed with players so there's very little space. He might need to reinvent himself, but at this stage he's an easy trade-out for me from a DT perspective.

Thinking of doing Cripps > Bowes via Laird and Fullarton > Impey

Whether Cripps can turn it around or not, or would be a decent M8 to have in the end, the money allows me to get Impey in as a cash cow and I'd have Jordon, Berry, Powell, Campbell, Gulden, Daniher, Impey, Warner, Clark, Highmore, Flynn and Ziebell as promising cash cows and Scott, Koschitzke, Brockman, Rowe and Sharp as more iffy ones.

Bowes is a bit of a gamble, but his role and style seems very suited to the new rules at the moment.

Cahill to Taranto's the obvious trade for me. The other one's tricky, my midfield's a huge worry. 2/6 "premiums" under 100 last week and 4/6 under 100 this week. Neale appears underdone but is also the most likely to bounce back in a big way. After a season and a bit it seems pretty clear that Cripps is either hampered physically or hampered by Teague's coaching, probably a bit of both. Taranto was a bit of a speculative pick with some extra cash I had left over, much like Cripps he might not turn out to be all that undervalued. It would be easier if one was injured, otherwise I feel like I'll almost certainly trade the wrong player.

I'd also like to rage trade Daniel purely because he irritates me. That and he might be a fair bit weaker option than a number of other defenders. Williams is starting to assert himself a bit more which takes possessions from Daniel (and is honestly a much more direct and complete defender). When West Coast upped the pressure Daniel turned into Lewis Taylor, running around in circles and turning it over. You like that Bulldogs fans?

Got $180K in the bank, don't have Jordan / Warner / Berry, do have Fyfe / Neale / Phillips / Nank / Daniher / Sharp. :ROFLMAO:

Will definitely be using the two trades.

I think I will suck it up with Neale and hope he delivers a 150+ VC in the first match of the round. Hope Brisbane are able to get home as not too sure I'll want to stick with Neale if they have to spend the week in Vic..... Will also hold Fyfe, at least useful as a loop. Nank also survives, no point shelving out the $$ this week for Gawn when he will at least drop some $$$

Daniher > Warner/Jordan
Phillips > Macrae

Is something I'd lean to early, but a long way to go this week.
Why Daniher mate?

Surely there are more pressing issues - scoring 73 at the Cattery v Geelong’s strong defence when priced at 233K I thought was a good result?

Will be either Sharp or A.Fyfe to Jordan. That's probably all. Would like Impey, but no reasonable way to get him in.
Cripps and Doc are my main premo concerns, but I'm willing to wait and see for a few more weeks there (plus I'm avoiding being the one to open the NTL thread this year).
