Strategy Round 3: Trades

First 2 trades done and dusted

Cahill to Jordan and Dow to Impey

First one OK, Jordan was a little underwhelming, but OK on the bench. Dow failed again, so let's see how Impey goes , but it is a win so far.

First 2 Trades of the season for me...

Cripps ---> Ridley
Sharp ---> Jordon

Feeling ok with how that's played out for now.

Still have a trade available and 125K to spend.

Have Clark sitting on the Pine in the Mids and Brockman and Phillips both on field Forward. There are a number of moves that I can make.

1 - Clark out for Atkins
2- Clark out for Impey
3 - Phillips Out for Atkins
4 - Phillips out for Impey (leaves 316k for next week)
5 - No trade

I am sure I will change my mind 50 times before the game starts but at this stage I am happy to give Phillips anther chance and move Clark on (probably to Atkins). Would not be surprised to see him sub today and out over the next few weeks when Danger and Menengola return

Brockman to Impey was the scenario i missed and would have been 90 and a heap of cash generation better off

Tex as a quick cash grab and can be used to grab a premium down back quickly via your numerous dpp links (eg J Lloyd, etc) and remaining salary.

Still good picks, as you would already know my thoughts on Cumming and Atkins boasts a great CPR rate and tackle average considering his role, SC position and price range. You should still be able to grab Impey next round if you end up cutting Phillips.

It's very tempting to grab Impey for Phillips but I'm not sure if it's worth using the trade since I've already used 4 😥

Personally I don’t think the number of trades used to date (whether low or high) has a significant impact on whether a particular trade is worthwhile. You still have 26 left, using 1 is only going to change that by 4%.

If the trade makes sense, you give yourself maximum potential for it to generate points if you use it early.
