Only 1 for Fyfe. Seems very low even accounting for his concussion.
Definitely strange that, played most of the game forward, but scored quite well. Not sure if it was designed that way with Darcy coming in undone for match fitness.

What’s this about Neale at half back???
Read it in the preseason in one of their practice games was one way they were getting more mid time into the likes of Bailey , McCarthy & Rayner etc etc was that they would look at rotating Lyons & Neale through the HB position and mid.

May have been also mentioned in the preseason article on Neale where he had been working on his game to improve.

Why is tagging Neale the flavour of the month now?
Not many bothered last year.
I'm trying to keep him but it's hard!

It came as Brisbane midfielder Lachie Neale could find himself heavily tagged for a second straight week as AFL rivals Collingwood weigh up whether to send renowned stopper Levi Greenwood to the Brownlow medallist.

It's extremely annoying for us, but from a teams perspective... If other teams have shown a hard tag on Neale is going to be effective and limit his impact in a game, It's only natural the next opponent is going to follow suit and try get the same result.

It's on Neale to prove that he can handle a hard tag, and still have a huge influence in a game. When he does that, teams might lay off him a little and focus on other areas.

Why has Josh Kelly(gws) now got very low cba's?
Because Leon Cameron is clueless :p

In all seriousness, as @freowho said, normally around 50% but dropped further - they seemed to of gone back to giving de Boer more time in there to tag the opposition's best mid (didn't work v Freo looking at Brayshaw's numbers).

Hopefully Leon can follow the lead of Rutten midway through last year with Merrett & get his best mid into the centre clearance rotations more. One of the many problems GWS currently have is even if they do win the centre clearance, look at the main mids who are then delivering the ball - Coniglio, Taranto, Hopper or de Boer. None of them are damaging/lack hurt factor - it was really eye opening on Sunday to see how often they burned teammates (especially Kelly), just lack composure with ball in hand. They are do not take advantage of the 6/6/6 rule from my viewpoint which I just can't understand.

Cameron is coaching for his career right now, anyone with half a brain knows that the most damaging mid he has is Kelly - he is the one guy who has composure, makes good decisions, executes well. It will be interesting to see what Cameron does over the next few weeks as clearly he needs to make changes fast before this becomes another wasted season for GWS.

Exactly
And like Oliver at Melbourne who feeds the trac
Taranto should be feeding jelly from the inside. Would help his efficiency ten fold and he’ll be a much better player and super coach scorer. Atm he gets it and tries to kick it under pressure and the clangers mount too quickly
