I think I'm trading Hunter to Jordon. Even if Hunter plays two more games he might only make 60k total, Jordon might make 200k all up.
Looks like 1 , maybe 2 , possibly 3 games but yeah Bryce Mitchell only projects $ 59k rise after another 3 games.

Can he spike ?

Bryan & Treacy close , Coleman-Jones on the horizon.

I am confused who to trade out this round myself.

Think Sharp gets dropped but links with Fyfe.

McNeil I actually thought looked ok last night.

Think Scott was mentioned twice so he could get dropped.

I still like Fullarton for his F/R link.

Decided I need to be boring this round and grab both JordOn & Warner.

Just had a look at your team (we have 22 players the same after Round 2)

Ridley , Short , Oliver , Mitchell , Bontempelli v Lloyd , Boak , Cripps , Zorko & Heeney

J Clark v Fantasia

Warner , Bergman v Powell , McNeil

I like how you have setup in defence 5 deep , with Highmore & Koschitzke on the bench and the Clark/Sharp/Fyfe swing if required.

If you do that Hunter - > JordOn trade it then gets Bergman to your bench , Campbell onfield forward ✓

Berry looks strong at M9.

No Powell is interesting.

Awesome looking team , continue punching out the big scores.

I am going to be smart in my upgrades (especially mids) if I hope to catch you.

Thanks Herbie.

I dropped Powell before he played in R1 to bring in A Fyfe to take Gulden's 139. Still don't know how that will go longer term, but having Clark/Laird/Sharp/Fyfe as a 4-way swing set (two in the mids currently) was appealing.

Moving Hunter out means I can hide one more poor forward rookie on the bench and have Fullarton at R3. Feels like a structural correction that also allows me to bring in Grundy/Gawn with one trade from anywhere if Flynn breaks his leg or something.

I'm still worried about having to field one of Rowe, Scott or Bergman each week at F6 but who knows... Rowe could get 100 again at home and I'll be laughing.

Good luck as well, you are certainly setup strong for a good season too!

That's the only weakness at the moment is your F6.

Rowe is popular though so suspect the majority will field him.

It's then just a matter of the bench making enough $$$ to fund the upgrades.

Hope this round is better , if my premiums all decide to play like premiums I should be right , most of my onfield rookies are the popular ones.

Just need Flynn & Meek to be in that 65-75 + range.

Grundy will hurt big time Thursday night but oh well , hopefully a lot of teams won't have a donut to take it 😀

You players who kicked off with rookie rucks I admire.
Still fielding 7 rookies onfield though like the majority of Gawn/Grundy teams though.

So I guess it becomes rookie Rucks v other position rookies and Gawn/Grundy v 2 other premiums.

I think the big advantage with the 2 rookie Rucks would be better if you had 15-17 starting premiums which is impossible under the Salary Cap unless you start including players like Duggan , Williams , Heeney & Taranto price types.

Hopefully after 6 rounds Meek down gets Flynn up to a premium ruck.

As for getting the second premium ruck I actually have no idea , certainly Fullarton down Hunter up equals nothing.

Treacy, CCJ and Bryan I think will be pivotal to the 4 rookie ruckline upgrades

Just need Bryan to come out and smash back to back 💯's and see how people with premium rucks then react.

Lobb possibly back Round 5 , Marshall & Ryder soon just need to figure out the timing now.

Treacy may not play as much as people are anticipating.

Just need the F/R link on one line in case.

Not sure the bench forward rookies will have mooed enough by Round 7 to get Coleman-Jones as well.
