3rd option with walker could be that he ends up a keeper 90+ type of output F6/F7. Not saying he will but food for thought.

Rule changes + motivated + moving freely = ?

I’m considering Cripps and Clark for Jordon and Ridley. Moves me closer to a GnR set-up, banks some cash, but forces more midfield rookies.

I know it’s “too early” to trade Clark, but feels like a genuine upgrade whilst getting Jordon’s cash gen.

I was very keen on Walker for the 5 week cash grab but think long term Warner makes me more $$$.

Just could be a massive loss of points over that period Walker v Warner.

Definitely a lot of Walker doubters on here , as great as the site is it can be very easily swayed by Group think.

Sometimes you just to ignore the posts and back your own judgement , if it works excellent , if not put your hand up and claim it.

If Walker does get to $ 450k he is not far away from Dangerfield or Marshall , Neale possibly , premium defender or Ruck.

Or just a downgrade.

Problem is if the 4 Swans rookies all score poorly against Richmond their cash growth slows quickly.

We might have all the onfield "boom" recruits needing to be upgraded all at the same time , and not being able to do it.

Think if coaches can get Highmore to D7 , Berry & Powell to M9 & M10 , Rowe (if keeps his place) to F7 their is 4 that should make the $ 150k mark to downgrade.

Brockman is a prime example on.how a rookies scores can change from game to game.
Warner first. next to nothing price and can score a 90.

I will get Jordon and then pick whether to trade out Sharp, bulldogs rookies, Butts.

Less certain if Berry for another rook or danger to walker and use the cash to upgrade next week.

Was lucky enough to not require any rookie corrections this season, and was against the Neale and Rowell picks so dodged 2 bullets that nailed half the comp.
Already used one trade on Danger to Titch.
Very heavily considering a second sideways trades, but this one hasn't been forced.

I started with 5 premo DEFs
Lloyd, Laird, Stewart, Daniel and Short.
Purposely leaving 1 spot open for Whitfield, who should excel under the new rules.
I didn't consider that Ridley would continue to improve, and on top of that have his team fall apart immediately.

Rids has ridiculous TOG, DE%, free reign on kick ins, and besides Zerrett there isn't anyone at Essendon that will be demanding all the points.

So I'm thinking I might sideways Daniel to him.
I don't think Daniel is now a bad pick just because he had a shocker in round 2, trying his best to lose the doggies the game.
But there's just so much competition for points at the doggies with their high possession gameplan. I thought Treloar would have some negative effect on their mids scoring, but so far there's been nothing to back that up.

I still reckon he can manage a 100ppg season, but I think Ridley has the potential to push 115ppg.

Means I still have the 5 DEFs and a spot for Whitfield, so unless someone goes down I can't see myself trading back into Daniel later.

Would leave me with 28 trades and 85k.
Very, very sideways, but I've always traded hard early, normally I'm down 4 trades by now, I'm pretty certain that I will end up making the trade, provided my team doesn't implode before I get the chance.

Just waiting for teams , even though part of me wants McNeil , Scott , Sharp to play the other part wants 2 of them to be dropped.

I definitely need JordOn & Warner , very annoying I didn't start them , but oh well.

How about planning using Laird in the midfield so you can still get both Whitfield and Ridley in the backs? It looks like the backmen might be outscoring most of the mids this season.

Definitely a possibility.
But I've got a mid consisting of Macrae, Titch, Zerrett and Jelly, so I've gotta find a way to get blokes like Oliver, Steele and Neale in, who should still outscore the defenders fairly comfortably.

I’m not so sure that Whitfield will be a must have this year given the uncertain & serious nature of his injury
as well as the possibility that the Giants continue to perform poorly. Still plenty of water to flow under that bridge before you have to make a decision though.

Imagine if Daniel bounces back and Short stinks it up with Houli in the team though....

Ahhhhh I'm struggling to find/settle on a replacement for Rowell. If there's one player you would bring in (Def, Mid or Fwd) worth up to 535k this round, who would it be? Focus is on long term/season keepers but happy to hear about other options too.

He's going ok, was concerned about js, but now with these injuries he should be safe. Anyway he'll make some nice cash for someone, I've gone down a different path.
I get to watch him on FTA Friday night.

Love looking at some of these $ 325k or less players after 2 Rounds and seeing their scores.

Your path is going to be a very successful one.

Not sure who you need, but Crisp has been pretty consistent, gets some mid time on occasions.
