Had him in my team pre season but obviously didn’t make the cut in round 1, going to be a nice early correction for a sharp if he doesn’t play again. Highly rated rookie last year if I recall correctly.
Think their was a lot of talk about him from last season.

Looks like the Lions have 3-4 due back so interesting if he can hold his spot and keep producing.

At least 5 new cheapies named so far for this round , pity it wasn't a few rounds later though.

I moved Sharp on last night but now have Koschitzke & Fyfe on my defence bench , so could become a concern.
Deven Robertson will be interesting, seemed to get some of Neale's mid time last in the last 1-2 quarters, or at least more up the ground (based on heat map).

Lol think most Grundy owners will be laughing with a 324 in the bank
Of course. It should be 400 though so that's a bullet dodged for me.
Quick Thoughts Lions vs Pies
I have to disagree with you on a couple of things there.

Sidebottom- wasn't he playing that floating Sidebottom half forward role? He ended up with 28 touches, he just did nothing with them and was so slow looked like getting run down every time he had the ball in space. That's a concern looking at him as an upgrade target.

Bailey- His role isn't actually all the glorious. From what I've seen, he's basically playing Rayner's role. They've cut his wing time and instead he and McCarthy are rotating through the midfield at times. That's not super encouraging as an owner, however he's still had opportunities for big points in three games the Lions have been constantly under pressure in. I'm not sure how he'll be affected if the team settles down and the Lions stop throwing players like McCarthy, Robinson and Cameron into the midfield to change things up.
I reckon he was crook, looked flat and played forward all night. Not his usual explosive self so reckon he was under the weather.
Probably caught Covid of those cheating prick lions 🤣
Court appearance fatigue?

Looks like it was the best option to trade Neale, I held him and am a little disappointed with his second half. Was very smitten for the first half of the game! I ran out of trades at the end of last year and it was super annoying so I’m Tryna be more careful this year. Grundy VC helps o***et the Neale stinker!

Lachie Neale comments don't look good (source Honeyball AFL) - I am battling a fair bit, its to do with my back. I had a scan and it wasn't a great result. There's a little bit in there but thats what I will deal with. It wasn't a great result on the scan.

Have a strong feeling had this info come out yesterday afternoon, a hell of a lot more coaches would have hit the trade button.

Talk is Bergman is medical sub, so watch out if he is "dropped". Jones a good chance to be ommitted.
Omg thanks...great point! Honestly didn't even think about this. Imagine him coming on late in the 4th quarter for a 5 pointer ...!!

It seems my opponent has Grundy VC too, but has no loophole option. He has Gawn (C) currently.
I may consider keeping Rowell this week just to captain him. But having that much cash on the bench might not be a good idea for my matchup!
Problem is I need to make a decision TODAY as Gold Coast play tonight!!!!

Options:

A. Keep Rowell (C), make no more trades. Bank Grundy's VC score. And hope Gawn doesn't go too HAM.

B. Trade Rowell to prem player. Risk Jones and Bergman not being "dropped" which would mean I don't grab Grundy's VC score. Back Gawn/Macrae as captain.

Ahhhh I shouldn't be thinking this hard this early on in the season!

Anyone wanting to read the full article it's on the age. Moral of the story, it's not a serious injury, 9 day break will do him the world of good.

the benefit of trading Rowell before price adjustments outweighs the Grundy VC.
plus you field an extra premo which will help negate any points lost from a Macrae/Gawn C...there’s a real chance you end up ahead.

Surprised by Sidebottom's score, 51 is pretty harsh I think, didn't think he was too bad.
Gave away a couple of frees and efficiency wasn't great, still a reasonable option if he can clean his game up. Probably plays better out of the middle or a wing, just needs to adjust to his new role.

What are the chances Bergman gets dropped? I heard some rumblings that he might be sub, but we obviously won't know for sure until after the dogs game has started. Need to decide between him or Scott for Jordon

With the information available, probably would have to trade Bergman to Jordon seeing as Scott is still named. Has dpp so can be an ok FD in future if he gets dropped.

I'm in a similar 'can't decide' situation.

A. Trade Caldwell to Walker and Captain Gawn
or
B. Keep Caldwell, take V/C Grundy's score and Fullerton's 48pts.
