Might be hard finding 5 forward rookies that people are 100% happy/confident in - clarke, bock, hogan, billings, boyd, rohan I don't trust.
Lol, I have 5 rookies in my fwd line at the moment and none of those players are in my team JW ;)

Not sure about anyone else, but I am really struggling with my forward structure this year. I have the usual suspects in Dangerfield and Martin locked, plus Buddy but I'm not even 100% with him. At the moment I am running with 3 rookies on field but it looks very thin. Have been toying with Dixon as well purely as a back up for Sandi. Really hoping some rookie gems present themselves in the preseason.
Had Motlop at F4 before his injury issues

What's everyone's thoughts on Pav vs Parker.
Pav is cheaper but Parkers more likely to play midfield

Pav for sure. Firstly, he has always scored best when playing forward and secondly he is also a proven fantasy performer who I'd back to definitely average in the 95-100 range. Parker is a bit too iffy IMO, especially with the Sydney midfielders often rotating good and bad games. I don't expect him to score consistently enough to pick him.

That was my thinking. He's also very reliable besides this year, hardly ever injured or suspended.
Plus the fact that has an absolute legend

Could Walters be a good pick up? He is training with the MIDs.
Possibly, yes. Watch his Pre-Season for his performance. Could be a breakout year for him.

For me, its a no though. I think there are better and more safer options available.

I'm a big fan of Walters. Only thing is that as a small forward he doesn't have a large ceiling and he is pretty expensive compared to Pav who I prefer. I'd like to see how he goes in the mids before getting him anyway, as a fair proportion of his points come from his ability to kick goals.

Very well put Lenny, I like you am a big fan of Walters. I'm just not 100% convinced in starting with him without having any history of his scoring abilities if he played in the midfield. I won't rule him out though, one of the better FWD options out there I reckon anyway.

The good old 'best preseason ever' term that doesn't get thrown around enough at this stage of the year :D

"Robin (Nahas) has been a bit of a surprise packet. He's a very bubbly person all the time and his forward pressure really stands out. I think he and Lindsay Thomas will complement each other."

After suffering a sickening broken leg, Gary Rohan is training the house down.

While Sydney is trying to keep his progress under wraps, privately the Swans feel he will enter the new season faster than ever.

Yeah I went for Parker over the Pav because of Pav's back. He's 32 now and I think he presents more risk than Parker sharing his points.

I don't think Parker will be a superstar, but I just want another 8 PPG out of him, which he should be able to do on natural progression.

Gotta say though that Pav is coming off a pretty steep discount and yeah he's a total gun. It's a close call

Definitely agree that there is more risk, but if he can get to 90-95 points a game I'll be happy. Should be more consistent this year. I thought his injury was from his Achilles not his back. Either way he's never missed as many games as last year in his career

So, how is Chappy going down at his new home thus far?

If he gets through NAB giggle and named for rd 1, hard to ignore,

Apart from last year, has hardly missed a game, pretty much 100+ ave for last 7-8 years,

What am I missing? Apart from being born in 1981,
