Kept Neale, traded Cripps, typical. Rookie ruck line looking like a mistake. Ok @Herbie66, @Johnsy44 and whoever else, what the hell do we do?
lol just wrote about 10 posts about it

The biggest issue in the last 2 rounds has been Gawn & Grundy going huge as captain.

Mids are not reliable , so the next best options are Ridley & Walker 😀

Still think the ideal starting structure would have been :-

R1 Gawn (given people were predicting 150 each round , has he underperformed ?)
R2 Flynn
R3 Meek

Round 7 - downgrade Meek , upgrade Flynn

I guess now we try and upgrade the rucks first and rely on Campbell , Gulden , Jordon , Warner and D6 to continue their scoring.

Or look at alternatives to provide higher scores.

Hickey possibly provides a temporary R1/R2 option.

Not 100% sure myself yet. Currently have 325k in the bank and am trading Dow for some moldy easter chocolate, Which will hopefully leave maybe 410ishk. With Saints being nothing short of useless, am hoping Hunter returns. Am hoping I can hold all 3 until at least round 5 when I will look to try and grab one of Gawndy. Depending on how jaeger goes this week, he may be used to get in one next round

Probably burn just the 1 trade with a sideways/downgrade from Young if he's set to miss weeks.

Dunks is the only player I'm really pining to grab asap. But the only way for me to make that happen would be to cull a slightly disappointing premo like Daniel, which has all the hallmarks of of trade with a high chance of backfiring.

Not sure how many posts I've read at SCS in the past 4 days of "I traded premo A to premo B and now I hate myself".

Definitely seems to exceed the number of posts of "I traded premo A to premo B and I'm a certified genius"

Let's not worry about Tex, who's bringing Fogarty in? Seems to be building nicely and has a SC friendly role. Will have the nice 163 in his cycle.
Will go up to $350k. Assuming Carlton are Carlton next week and he scores 80, he will top out quickly.

Leave room for the Package...............has better momentum already

I’ll continue to monitor the situation. Not panicking yet. It has helped I didn’t start Neale & Cripps tho

Until a path becomes clear keep trying to nail yr VC/C

Options I see are

- bring in Hickey as a stop gap
- look to downgrade a couple of mid-pricer types (Clark. Phillips) for cash and grab one of em
- back em in and upgrade to a Premo on another line who has dropped in price(Clarry)
- wait for Marshall
- grab a FWD flyer - Tex/Stringer
- pray to the SC gods for good fortune

Good summary. I’m going with the last one.

Yep, all possibilities, got about 350k in kitty, so this week's trades will be important. Unfortunately my captain choices this year without Grawndy have been appalling, not one ton from 3 weeks, slight disaster really.
