Couldn't you say the same for Impey?
Changed position/role hasn't he ?

Can't recall the exact number that was posted that he has previously averaged as a HB , from memory it was 75-80 ish minimum.

I expected more from Joe. But Lions haven't been amazing.
Not sure what has happened to them , but hopefully they turn it around quickly , love the way they have been playing over the last couple of seasons.

I guess it will take some time for Daniher & Hipwood to gel , and Daniher to get used to how his team mates kick.

If you have Daniher you should leave it one more week. Has Bombers. As a long suffering Essendon supporter, I know how this story goes....
Daniel gone for Lachie Jones for me. Pocket the cash and get a jump on a couple of early upgrades of some fallen premiums

Fullerton has to stay for me... Had to move him into the ruck once giants rested Flynn. Pray he is back next game.
Will look to move on one of Rowe Scott or Brockman for waterman. Interested to see how parks goes too

Why are people pulling the gun on Daniel?
Sure he got 19 but its not that bad compared to what hes capable of
Hes no good for a number of reasons.

1) No intercepts/spoils
2) he spends the entire game floating around looking for a cheap handball
3) kicking hasnt been as good as last year
4) Dale/Williams both better players than last year, they are doing the rebounding along with Duryea
5) He started on the bench today
6) If he plays like that again hes a chance to get dropped.

Before this weekend Daniel was a couple of effective touches over turnovers in round 2 short of averaging 100.

Absolute mare today (one of the worst I've ever seen) but surely he's not worth trading at 460k?

Tough to stomach either way.
I tend to agree with this, especially as a starting point and with a sample size of one or maybe two (66 in R2).

Now that I think of it, Zorko had an absolute shocker some years back and scored 12. Turned out he had gastro. Doubt that’s the issue with Daniel, but I’d be inclined to give him at least another round to see how he scores and looks.

If Caleb Daniel is worth 523k, BE is 145 and he scored 19 what will his price go down to?
Anyone know how to work it out?

Unfortunately you don’t really get another round.

Upgrade season starts after next week, so it doesn’t really make sense to sideways premiums at that point when you could be replacing rookies on field with premiums instead.

If you keep Daniel after this week, you’re probably stuck with him until the byes.

I was wondering about the timing of the start of upgrade season earlier today. For me it will probably start next week (given I had Heppell) but I suspect it differs depending on team structure and who your marginal rookie is. I take your point though.

Upgrade season at the end of next round !!!

Must be sitting on a war chest.

Can't think of any bench rookies that are close to making enough money.

Surely people are not looking to upgrade Flynn , Gulden or Warner yet.

None of the other onfield rookies would have risen enough either.

Surely
