I can't seem to search for Rivals? I was trying to add Jay and other past winners but I can only select other people from my leagues.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yep me and Hairy were having the same problem too. The "search for players" function is clearly not working.

I could only add Jay cause I was in the Premier League, so it came up for me.

Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to add him.

They should just shut it down until a couple weeks before season proper and get it right.

Won't happen. They need the extra traffic all the way up to the season proper. They need people viewing the ads, buying Supercoach Gold and the other available optional things. If they shut the site down for a week or two, many people will try out the other fantasy games and possibly not go back to Supercoach this season. They won't and can't risk that happening.

Funny you mention the ads. i was on Supercoach site on my phone trying to check my bye structure with SC gold and all i could find was an ad for a hamburger joint.

Yep, designs of SC and DT have gone backwards over the years.

Glad I'm in no hurry to register yet. Sounds like I avoiding the first day mayhem.

I have sent Virtual Sports a direct message via Twitter with some comments/feedback.

Only focused on one thing though.

Finally I got in. I am not Robinson Crusoe here, having been involved in the design and intro. of websites in the Victorian Public Service through the years. The mayhem and obvious deficiencies in AFL Fantasy, Real and SC on login (after the labour of getting in) amaze me. An ability to scroll for players, that is basic.

Jay with his Fanplanner for SC and Chad from DT live for AFL Fantasy are two that I used to draft teams before opening. Both are well ahead of what is in production. These sites are fortunate that they have time to reconfigure with a 40 day play time. In my past, you go live, and you sweat like there is no tomorrow that the system will work, no pretend period.

Congrats Jay and Chad, on a chewing gum budget, crap all over the headliners.

Right oh, I'm just a dumb bricklayer and not up with technology. So I put in my e-mail addy (same one as previous years). Password (same as previous years). Then it says invalid email or password.
So I go to register as a new player put in the same details and it says Looks like you already have an account. Log in. But it wont let me.
I'm just going around in circles here. Advice for a dumb bricky would be nice.

Trying to log in and join the league for Rowsus but that time clock of 43 days, 1 hour, 52 mins and 16 seconds, is a concern. Not sure I have the computer skills to log in by then. Have no idea guys !!!!!!!!

Don't worry, I locked my account after 6 tries, then I had to wait 30 minutes for it to be unlocked...LOL

Request pasword could be an option and you should be fine.

Had to scroll down a long way to find that year of birth thing. (that's a worry, lol)
My auto fill team needs a little tweaking, but it's a start.

The biggest issue is not being able to scroll players. That would be an easy fix though.

I'm really not sure why VS have changed the design/layout so much.. haven't they heard the famous quote "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

You have to change the password through your news pass. Click on the profile thing in the top right hand corner and in settings you can change it .

Edit: You can also logout from there I'm pretty sure.

Took me ages to find the Log out Button - look at the very top of the page on the left hand side. You will see a small "button" with your name on it. Press this and it will give you the option to log out (so obscure!). I don't think you can log out by just closing the browser page (didn't work for me anyway)

There is a lot of luck though in the game with regards to injury , especially early in season, that can undo, even a great player such as yourself , so I'm not put off by your last season not being one of your best. There are plenty of reasons you might have just not had a good year.
If you can get as high as you have, as often as you have, I consider you one of the true elite coaches I can learn from.

IIRC you ran over a black cat or something last year too? Hope it all goes a bit smoother for you this year.

Certainly hoping for a change of luck. I only really had a decent go at SC last two seasons and both of those seasons I've felt 3 or 4 rounds in, that I was no chance by then and out of it as had next to zero luck with injuries. If I ran over any black cat I truly am sorry Supercoach Footy Gods. I repent and all I ask in 2014 is to have the players I pick have a fair crack at it so the value of my squad and scoring power is not restricted in early rounds like it has been in these two horrible seasons I've experienced so far. I'm overdue for a change of luck.

I want to follow Phil's team for the Rivalry option but it does not allow me to type any team name in.

Anyone got any ideas how to get past this snag and actually pick a team to follow in Rivalry option.
I tried finding a search option but no luck so far...
I'm not entering leagues this season so just want to join Group, which I've done, and this Rivalry option seems to have issues.

Anyone found the solution yet ?

Maybe that is why cannot search any teams.

I actually was asking how to do one if not part of any league....


My guess is, it is not allowing search function to be operative until the season starts.
I suspect after round 1 is completed I can see a search function actually work and follow his team then.
