Last night Short's score went up by one for doing exactly that. Uncontested mark. Short pass directly to Steele which directly lead to a goal on turnover as the Richmond players were out of position. I know supercoach is a formula but ideally there should be more reflection of reality.

You were most likely seeing the effects of scaling.

It's very obvious in blowouts. The first quarter gets progressively scaled higher as the game goes on.
