Strategy Round 5: Trades

I'm planning to trade in Dunkley and Bowes with Daniels and Campbell or L.Young.
Campbell has maxed out, which is the obvious trade, but L.Young was the Medical Sub last week and his job security looks shaky, hmmm.

Is L.Young's job security something to worry about? His BE is 21, so still has some money to make, if he plays.

More chance he plays than doesn't given McDonald's injury I would think.

Almost certain you’ll retain both trades

The system compares the difference between sides - if you trade back to your original team there is no variance/change to your team meaning 0 trades have been used

I believe @Herbie66 is the person to ask about this.

I think you should have both trades (assuming this is the only trade you have made this round), but I haven't tried it.

Should really just be able to reverse changes at any point and just lock the players out at match start, never really understood why you cant to be honest.

I don’t know if this is entirely true.

Last year I accidentally traded in Trent Bianco instead of Trey Ruscoe. I was pretty despondent for a bit and then after a few beers ended up rage trading Bianco to Ruscoe because I needed the def/mid dpp.

It turned out I was able to complete that trade without burning any additional trades.

I don’t know if what was because both players were the same price or if the system allows movement of players that aren’t “locked out” even though the trade prompts advise otherwise.

Feel like Waterman is alot more likely to score 30 with this weeks match ups, small/med forward versus Brisbane at the Gabba versus a bloke likely playing on the wing against Carlton, you'd have to think Bergman is favoured at least on paper.

Can confirm it worked.. I took the plunge and got both trades back (thought YOLO 😂). Thanks for the advice and encouragement..

Chapman still looks worth it to me, he looks like he is growing in confidence each game and scores well.

Was looking at trading in Waterman, either via Sharp, one of Scott/McNeil or Campbell. Not sure now though as Campbell is my current F6 and in each scenario he either gets traded or ends up in the mids via DPP. That leaves me having to field one of Waterman, Rowe or Bergman each week.
