Strategy Round 6: Trades

Lots of folk getting very nervous of going early on rookies 
but not sure if I prefer to risk going early on Macrae (with his DPP) or McCreery. I feel a need to trade Berry this round (especially now that he's out) to raise some cash - otherwise I won't be able to upgrade next week. But next week who else other than Macrae will be on the bubble, decent and not expensive?

I might try and wait it out until this evening, hopefully we'll know more then and I'm back in range before first lock-out. If it's looking like a donut I may downgrade a Highmore/Jones to Mansell and move Jelly to Oliver/Duncan/Fyfe. Might even look at another Defender backman like Lloyd as that line is giving me so much grief.
Each to their own, the ROI for that sort of move for 60k of value/cap, at Ridley’s one week concussion expense (with the clear intention of trading him back in) just doesn’t add up. If they’re at the pointy end of the spectrum then trades should ideally be conserved (and not wasted)
They’re free to trade Ridley in/out, but imho I don’t see any real ROI in doing so, irrespective of whether they’re playing for league/overall

The ROI is in this case is captured within the possible and immediate points gain. Combined within a round that looks challenging where many teams will have issues with donuts and fielding spuds like Kosi, this MAY, be exponentially beneficial more than other rounds.
Alot of people thanking their lucky stars that Kosi and the likes are named, but let's be honest. It's another jumper on the field that makes us feel much better to field a full team but realistically the difference between a Kosi and a donut in points is not going to be much.
I get both sides, my preference is to hold but it is great to see others thinking outside the box and rolling the dice and hopefully being rewarded.

I traded him last week because Of the real risk he’d score a couple of 60/70s and destroy his value. He was never a definite keeper because of his injury history so I was mentally prepared to trade him which made it easier. With Whitfield coming back there is a chance things may change for the better (and make me regret my decision 😳)
