Questions are going to have to be seriously asked if Highmore can't find himself a game in that side next week.
Injuries, likely suspensions, horrible form, leaking goals for fun. Surely it happens.
I am very desperate next round for warm bodies. Could use some good news next Friday 6:20pm....

Quick Thoughts - Power vs Saints

General - First 15 minutes the Saints actually tried and then it stopped completely. No pressure, no structure, no effort, no chance. Power just clinical, if the other team wont pressure or attack you, just sit back, wax it and slowly move forward and then kick into a non-contest and goal, just methodical destruction.

Power - Would be very happy, no knocks, no pressure, be lucky to even have a bruise, maybe Dixon cleaning up Georgiades, that was as close as it came. Just destroyed them.

Amon - The only one who might have embarrassed Brad Hill more than Brad Hill did, exceptional first half, just chilled home.

Wines - Beast, of course when you're physical and try and the opponent doesn't you're going to do well.

Houston - Really strong game, way to back up for his owners!

DBJ - Seems to have found some form the past couple of weeks.

Boak - Just keeps ticking on, not sure a Saint went near him at any point.

Aliir - Another strong game, like Boak, I'm not sure a Saint went near him but damn they sure liked kicking it to him!

Fantasia - Feasted on the corpse of St Kilda's pride.

Rozee - Pushed into the midfield in the 2nd half and actually found the ball, was pretty ordinary in the first.

Bergman - Brutal ratio. He was just rock solid for mine, a good 1:1 type of game, I can only think he must have made the mistake that led to St Kilda's only goal in the first quarter when the game was actually interesting...

Frederick - Really solid debut, reckon he stole Bergman's points, their games were very similar for mine but if he can hold on to the spot he could be a good one.

Saints - Embarrassing. Genuinely embarrassing. I'm not sure they had any area they could be proud of or any thing, their only decent goal was an accident, their gut runner was ashamedly bad and then literally quit on the team at 3/4 time and went home and that really just summed them up perfectly, maybe I should give Hill some credit, by making it to 3/4 time he went further than the rest of the team who'd quit long before that. Honestly, given how bad they were last week I reckon this was the worst performance of the year, it's not a lack of talent, it's a complete lack of heart.

Ross - I mean just to contradict myself he's the one guy who actually is a lack of talent and not effort... He tried hard but as a neutral fan I feel bad when he has the ball for the Saints, I can't imagine how despairing it must be as a Saints fan...

Marshall - Amazing return all things considered. Another who tried hard.

Steele - He was good for 3/4, he went home in the last as well. He wasn't great though, just didn't use it well but effort was still solid.

Billings - Trying to get FWD status again, locked in the forward pocket for the entire game, plantar fascitis last week and obviously still can't go.

Clark - Nowhere near it, for a game where they got absolutely spanked their defenders actually had somewhat limited supply but they also had absolutely nil composure, just hacked it forward to Port's zone all game.

Crouch - Shocker, absolute stinker of a game.

Hill - He sums up everything wrong with the Saints. Said it before, I don't expect him to tackle or win contested ball, that's not his thing and he's not going to do it, we know this, but to not run, not chase, not demand the ball, just pathetic. And then to quit at 3/4 time and sub yourself out, man... I know exactly who the guy who is getting a shame video and dropped is if I'm Ratten, time to send a message to the entire group that just because you're on a big contract you wont get a game, just utterly pathetic. Carlisle can hold his hand on the way down to the seconds training session!

Missed the game, happy with Houston considering I still thought he could be a late withdrawal going into the game.

FF seems to indicate played mids, wonder if it was just his usual role, sometimes in the backline.

He was playing mid the entire game. Jonas looked to have that role Houston had in the first few games of this season. Kickouts looked to be a number of players though from what I saw.

Josh Thomas 18 CBA, Finlay Macrae 4................

Thomas finishes with 3 clearances from the entire game. How a single incompetent coach ruins one of the youngest premiership side from 2010 and is still destroying our future talent 11 years later.
