No love for Mundy? 133.3 3rd avg and 126.0 5rd avg. $578K

133 is unsustainable, especially for a bloke who hasn't averaged over 100 since 2015. He's in great form but I can't see it ending well if you were to trade him in now. Missed his best scores.

No options that avoid Rowe/McCreery having to play at all?

It seems like that spot would have to be your weakest spot on the field if those are the best options and you should try and prioritise fixing that spot, imo.

Could look at bringing in forwards... But what forwards??? Bolton? Marshall?

He's in my midfield... he's my link for Laird atm... if needed. But i will most likely trade him out next game for Frederick.

and bring Laird to the midfield for a few weeks.

I love Luke, but he will go missing in games and is the ultimate small forward. I don't see him scoring well consistently.

Team is decimated. Like many here, it's just getting too hard. May throw caution to the wind and bring in Hawkins for Dunks at probably his lowest price and hope he kicks a few bags. I think he goes ok normally against the Swans. Other trade I should bring in Macrae for Neale.

Edit: just remembered Jezza is playing, so maybe Hawkins not a great idea.

Maybe Jezza is the answer you are looking for.

Wow the suckfest that is my team needs to change. I look at it and it doesn't even seem that bad... having Impey in my team all pre season and swapping him to dow has along likely cost me about 7000 ranking spots. Every week so many 20 and 30 scores - mid price madness may be the future of SC! I keep telling myself I am playing the long game...sigh

Hopefully Ridley is back this week and I have cash so hopefully Dunkley/Gulden to Oliver/Walsh can make me feel a bit better about my SC world! sorry owners if I break them

The debate for me is do you bring in two $600k midfielders this week or target 1 def/fwd at $500k, which should allow another one a week later.

Def - Houston/Mills
Fwd - Sidey/Marshall/Zorko

Vs 2 of Oliver, Bont, Walsh type names

I guess it all depends on what your definition of a keeper is.

For me the helmet, Tarantula, Jelly and Crippa are more list cloggers than keepers ... but each to their own!

That's fair, but with the carnage this year surely they must be considered as potential keepers and last in the upgrade queue.

As much as those trades sound great dont get me wrong but you got too many dead weight on your bench I would look to only getting 1 of Zorko or Sid and if possible keep 1 or even both of Gulden and Rowe and trade Brockman/Berry/Sauders to a rookie

Marshall this week has a BE of 146 and is looking to lose around $17K.............current price is $557,200

Love to get him under $500K........................just might in a few weeks, you never know

I also am very keen - and I agree its a bit early for him.

I am thinking of bringing Zorko to the forward line and bring in 2 mids.

I will look to upgrade Tex to Grundy in a few rounds.

With the forward debacle, I'm not sure I can bring in Gawn this week - and am wondering if I can afford to get him at all. Dunkley provides an avenue, but then I'll be left with a very bare cupboard up forward, and sweating on rookies.

Anyone else looking at other Ruck options? Of course I want Gawn, just don't know if there is enough cash gen to address mid and fwd issues.

I guess there is also the feeling that I can't afford not to get Gawn.

I'm hoping he does indeed drop a bit, 273k ITB and Flynn (R2) 273k, need him to drop 12k and/or Flynn to rise by the same amount.
