Jelly been average all year until today
did the light switch go on

Was the inside role an anomaly? he always averages 110+ so at 510k who else is looking at him this week or does it need a further games evidence. Having jelly and titch at m7/8 at years end can’t be too bad
I’d like to see another good performance before jumping on

Pretty easy week trade wise for me, probably Rowe > Oliver with the cash from my Neale downgrade and Chapman > Frederick or Murphy.
Seems like an absolute trade frenzy this season. How many trades have people used? I have used 9 and am thinking of holding fire this week.
I've also used 9 and I'll be using a couple more this week, it's hard to hold fire with all these rookies topping out or going backwards already combined with regular LTIs to premiums. I suppose a rookie like Chapman or Rowe could get the second wind needed to make an extra 50k (I've already missed on that with Kosi), it's hard to see where that would come from at the moment though.

Really like May at his price but not sure it works for me to get him this week. Especially as I'm currently forced to field Rowe..

If rookie selections go as planned I think I'll do Chapman -> Frederick (scoring potential) or Murphy (stronger JS).

Second trade will likely be Rowe to a premium forward (whatever that means in this truly crazy year!). Current front runners are Bolton, Marshall, Atkins or Dale.

Bolton - has 1 score under 85 for the year and last 4 games have been 110, 110, 99, 121. If he gets consistent mid time he is a bargain at 479k but the risk is if he gets left forward for large chunks of the game he's probably only an 80-85 point player. Bonus is richmond are a significantly better team with him in the middle (it changed the game at HT vs the doggies).

Marshall - small sample size, and 86 with Ryder back in the team isn't great. would pair well when I eventually move Fullerton to R3 (after trading Flynn) but that doesn't feel like the number one priority, and paying over 500k for a player with question marks seems like a bad idea given the value out there.

Atkins - value play at 404k.. doesn't have a high ceiling but 5/7 scores 82+ (a 57 and 78 being the other two) gives him a decent consistency angle. Basically the same price as May although if I had a free pass to choose either, I know which I'd go.

Dale - another value play at 444k, similar to Atkins in terms of consistency (5/7 are 84+ with the others being 72 & 61) but has shown the ceiling to go 110+ which gives him a point of difference.

Honourable mentions to Sidebottom (494k), and Hind (430k).

Used 8, will use 2 this week.

I've found my most successful years are ones where I've been aggressive on corrections rather than sitting on sunk costs, so am fine to use a couple more than most on early trades - I guess six would be about par.

I have some cash available. Can do Cox and Fantasia -> May and Daniel. This would be defence finished (ish) and possibly Jiath might end up on the bench when everyone is fit

Or Jiath and Waterman -> May and Daniel. This creates a D/F switch with Fantasia and Cox to manage potential donuts if need be, both would be bench.

Thoughts?

Based on the SCS poll par looks to be 9/10 used so far. Maybe the reluctant traders are also the reluctant voters 😕

Or skip on May, take Frederick and use the cash to fix a line that is worse next week? (Or bring in Ridley next week)

Will skip Fredericks. I’m trading Campbell/Rowe to Thilthorpe/May. This will allow me the link to trade out Flynn at some stage with one trade only (he’s R3), whilst hopefully making some cash on Thilthorpe and maybe even getting a decent score or two.
