Really like May at his price but not sure it works for me to get him this week. Especially as I'm currently forced to field Rowe..
If rookie selections go as planned I think I'll do Chapman -> Frederick (scoring potential) or Murphy (stronger JS).
Second trade will likely be Rowe to a premium forward (whatever that means in this truly crazy year!). Current front runners are Bolton, Marshall, Atkins or Dale.
Bolton - has 1 score under 85 for the year and last 4 games have been 110, 110, 99, 121. If he gets consistent mid time he is a bargain at 479k but the risk is if he gets left forward for large chunks of the game he's probably only an 80-85 point player. Bonus is richmond are a significantly better team with him in the middle (it changed the game at HT vs the doggies).
Marshall - small sample size, and 86 with Ryder back in the team isn't great. would pair well when I eventually move Fullerton to R3 (after trading Flynn) but that doesn't feel like the number one priority, and paying over 500k for a player with question marks seems like a bad idea given the value out there.
Atkins - value play at 404k.. doesn't have a high ceiling but 5/7 scores 82+ (a 57 and 78 being the other two) gives him a decent consistency angle. Basically the same price as May although if I had a free pass to choose either, I know which I'd go.
Dale - another value play at 444k, similar to Atkins in terms of consistency (5/7 are 84+ with the others being 72 & 61) but has shown the ceiling to go 110+ which gives him a point of difference.
Honourable mentions to Sidebottom (494k), and Hind (430k).
