Having 2nd thoughts on final DEF prem. toss up between Mills and Lloyd. As cash is tight I am going Mills over LLoyd that extra 20K could be difference to an upgrade come byes. Rowe/Chapman > Frederick/Mills and 200K ITB after trades.
can always swing laird in mid for m8 so get who you want the most, coz you can alwyas get the other later

For those looking at May this week, I would strongly encourage you to check your bye situation first.

He has the round 14 bye - Adelaide/Collingwood/St Kilda/Sydney/Freo/ Melbourne

So all of these popular premiums will be on the bye :-

Laird/Tex/Grundy/Steele/Marshall/Lloyd/Mills/Fyfe/Ryan/Brayshaw/Gawn/Oliver/Petracca

Think I am going to wait for Whitfield to bottom out in price instead as GWS share the bye with North/GoldCoast/Port/Hawks/Cats - teams that I don't have many players with, better for my team balance.

Maybe good for my bye structure but I don't have nearly as many of those popular premiums as I would like!:ROFLMAO:

Out: J Rowe and H Chapman
In: S May and M Frederick

Dusty moves back to the forward line, Laird moves into the midfield and hopefully Sloane finally returns which will push both Scott and Berry back to the bench.
Currently:
Out: C Warner and H Chapman
In: M Frederick and S May

Thinking of Clark & Rowe to Frederick & Robertson.
Looking to add a more reliable DPP FWD and tip some $$ into the upgrade fund.

Any warning bells for taking Robertson?

If Sloane is back, your midfield is

Don't think I would trade Warner to get May - Warner's BE is 63 this week which is achievable, felt he was harshly scored on the weekend.

Really weakens your fwd line with Rowe at F5. You have Laird in your mids I notice so by taking May you would have 6 premium defenders already - the likes of Whitfield & Lloyd are dropping in price, might pay to be patient & wait.

Is Titch still a top 8 mid? Been poor this year.

38 touches this weekend for a 105. Typical Titch stuff. But we know historically he's almost as likely to go 130+ as he is to go 100 when he gets that much ball. You just never know how his ratio will wind up.

I think he's a 2nd tier mid this year (solid 100-105 but 110 best case), not a super-premo. Easily matched by a number of other players.

Macrae and Walsh are the standouts to go 120 or near enough, don't think Mundy, Guthrie and Lyons keep it up for the whole year.
Then you have the solid 110-115 guys who you definitely want most of if they are fit and playing: Oliver, Bont, Steele, Fyfe, maybe Petracca and then Zerret might be borderline.

Then throw a blanket over a whole heap who might make 110 for the year, which includes Titchell: Brayshaw, Duncan, Clug, Boak, Josh Kelly if the stars align, Mundy, Guthrie and Lyons from above.

I think I'm just doing Chapman to Frederick. The thing is that I'm not convinced by Frederick, I just like his break even.
The issue for me is his JS and potential to be the sub, which means I'm probably going to avoid given the number of non-performing rookies I have. I can understand why he's a slam-dunk in for most however.

I'm hoping he can avg 70 for the next 3 weeks. Should gain about $110k, then Jones may come back, unless Frederick can hold him out.
He doesn't have great job security. I think Bonner will come back this week but not sure where he is playing. Boak should come back. Maybe Farrell. Rocky hurt his knee. Not sure how long Butters and Jones are out. I miss them! I'm a bit gun shy of picking breakeven rookies after Waterman a couple of weeks ago.
