Gulden to May via A Fyfe.

Need some more cash but bypassing Fredericks and will have a closer look at Riley CD. Now that he is in the team he may be hard to dislodge for a number of weeks. Depends too on what his vs Ross’s role in the team is.

Still running a donut in the forwards.....

Seeing a lot of posts about grabbing May, I've got one spot left in my backline with the likes of Lloyd, Whitfield, Mills and Short still available to me - what's the attraction of May? He's never been in any conversation that I can remember so just curious what I'm missing.
Me too, I don't see the attraction with May if there is only one or 2 spots to fill in the backline. I have other lines that need more attention.

Exactly the same position with me.

Still have Whitfield, Lloyd, Ridley, Mills, Daniel as options for 2 spots (3 if/when I eventually move on Duggan).

He's been a solid contributor and can go large on occasions, as per last week, so not sure if people are being seduced by his price and ability for a couple of spike scores. projected increase of $38.9k this week, so he's bottomed out.

My forward line is the worrying one for me, as I have Walker, Warner, Cox, Atu, Rowe and Fullerton. Ziebell and Impey the only 2 that I like to keep.
F/R Fullerton can be useful as a Capt Loop and maybe take Flynn's place eventually, if I get Marshall in later.
Atu still has money to make.
Walker's scoring will always fluctuate, as key forwards scoring does, so not really happy to keep him, but he's not my biggest problem.
Cox, Rowe and Warner are cashed up and ready to trade out. I'm leaning to trade Rowe out, as I have 4 ADE players at the moment, and I am not comfortable with that.
By trading Chapman to Frederick and Rowe out, I will have enough money in the bank to afford anybody, in any line through DPPs, but I want to improve my Fwd line scoring.
I'm looking at Bolton, JKelly or Sidebottom to trade in.
I'm leaning to Bolton because he is the lowest priced and with a 66 Breakeven.

I kind of agree, but without the eye injury he is averaging 103 and he is 408k or something. He looks settled in his role at melbourne and is now fit. I still have room for Lloyd and maybe whitfield. Getting rookies out of my team and off the field is a priority. May wasn't part of the plan but it is either this week or never. Still haven't completely decided but what else can you do on may the fourth?

Price, scoring potential. At 400k worse case he gets pushed to D7 end of the year to loop, or trade him out Round 14. All depends on trades but alot of options.

Still caught in two minds over trades this week.

Chap to Fred is easy but need to do something with Phillips.

A little torn between A Brayshaw or getting on the Jack Darling rollercoaster....

Good point. What does fourth have to do with force anyway? I'd trade to a premium forward if they existed and I could afford it!
It s a joke based on "May the 4th be with you" as in "May the Force be with you."
The image is advocating the other side of the argument, which I thought was quite funny.
It was also a funny coincidence that May (as in the player) was a topic of discussion for potential selection for peoples SC teams was being discussed at that time.

Upgrade options for this week (for those that have cash...Frederick for me will be largely sideways from a non-performing rookie):

Defence
Premium: Bowes & Short, both at $480k and should be good for 95-100. Mills/Laird are both a great price vs expected still too.
Near Premium: May and Daniel both between $405-415k, and may pump out high 80's from here. Beggars can't be choosers in 2021!

Mids
Premium: Mitchell appears to now be bottoming out around $500k, and I'm expecting him to score at 213 points per $mil from here (best of all premium options this week). Boak a consideration too if he's back, and Oliver is under $600k for those that don't have him.

Fwds
Premium: Dusty and Tex at decent prices, but expected to fall in price further given recent form. Zorko the best bet for those looking for a premium forward this week.

God forwards are rubbish, little surprised not seeing much love for Marshall, he's close to bottom price if fit.
I reckon Marshall might have another 30k to drop over the next 3 weeks, plus for me he just doesn't suit my bye structure (shares the Grawndy bye) & neither does Dale. So TFG is my only upgrade option as a round 12 premo is the only one I can afford to bring in right now. Marshall & Dale will have to wait for the byes.

Had to leave Neale on the bench last week so I'm looking to trade him this week, have got enough cash to pick anyone.

Considering whether I go up to Macrae or Walsh who I am missing or whether I need to take the value while it is there and go to Brayshaw or Jelly? Leaning towards Brayshaw atm as cash generation looks to be an issue.

what a shocker i had.

what a shocker my team had. Dumb decision with captain too... so thats my own fault.

I think Tex's time is up in my team. Can't see him reaching his BE of 140. If i leave him much longer, may just lose all the money he made. Rowe too has to go... the way he is going. Nearly no chance of getting his 77.

At this point... i'm going to move Laird to the midfield and make these changes:
Rowe to Frederick
Walker to Kelly/Titch

I can afford any mid upgrade... should i go for value like Kelly? that way i can do another mid upgrade next week. If i went for a Macrae or a Steele, it would only be one upgrade possible. Thoughts?
