Anyone know much about Murphy, given he is listed on wing. Was he a defender when he played juniors?

Edit - juniors and VFL defender, intercepting strong, kicking is poor.

The first trade was Chapman > Parks

Any ideas for the 2nd trade? The season is already a shambles and burnt almost half my trades already so just looking to try something different. Maybe Campbell for Sloane? Might even Trade in Franklin or Ben Brown

No late mail on Luke Ryan?
Won’t know before the Collingwood game if Ryan is a late in or not.
If I trade him in he will come in and smash a ton

Campbell to May or Lloyd via Sharp to move Parks to the bench.

One up, one down donut avoidance trades.
So Rowe not only stays in my team but onfield.
Chapman and Campbell to May and Murphy (Cox forward ).
Need Zilliams to not be too sore to play tomorrow and no donuts.
No bench except in the mids.

What about Rowe to Bailey Dale or Pickett plus a heap of cash leftover ?
Unique but could end up a solid F6.

Crows have a tough run of games, Swans a good run - might see Campbell back in the side.

Otherwise Rowe to May via DPP and Parks > bench is the clear value move

Who would Murphy be at risk to losing his spot to?
Howe, Macrae, Rantall, Brown, Sier, Bianco, Greenwood, Ruscoe and then you've got the Adams and Elliott types.

Basically they've got a revolving door for those last few spots, he's got every chance of cementing a spot but will need to perform.

Just the nature of the beast this year, he's gone one better than Frederick or Jones at least?

Not much love for Thilthorpe?
Can anyone provide any insight? Job security and scoring potential?
Don’t know anything about him, but considering trading him for the ruck/fwd
Look at the Crows schedule over the next 5-6 weeks - it will tell you everything that you need to know.

If he were a $102.3k R/F it would be an entirely different story, but he's a $202k R/F.

Anyone looking at Stocker as an alternative to the Parks vs Murphy equation?

It would be purely based on blind hope that he improves rapidly with an extended run at it.

starting to lean towards parks. Problem for me he becomes a D6 for a little while.

Feels like him and Parks are basically the same thing right now so why pay extra?

Oh dear, against all my better judgement, and the better judgement of everyone in this site I have just brought Buddy in.

Waterman and Fantasia for Murphy and Buddy.

Went and watched the stats pro (thanks for whoever gave me the heads up on that) for all the rookies and decided I liked Murphy the best, then it was a case of finding an upside forward for who the risk reward appealed. Looked at guys like Stringer (current scoring is career high, likely regression? Also didn't want to ruin him!), Hall etc. But Buddy appealed even with the injury risk due to low breakeven and having produced big numbers in the past. Hopefully in for a good time, not a long time, but who knows.

This also allows me to save for a couple that I want to bring in (Can likely go direct Cox to Ridley next week), in areas that aren't as flakey as the forward line.

I know I know ...

On par with waterman! Winner winner 🐓 dinner

Everyone worried about who they are trading in, not who they are trading out.

Guys like Rowe may be handy in bye rounds.

Not due to his price, the biggest problem is Teague is playing him out of position. If Teague actually played him as a mid where he belongs I would be jumping on. Stocker will be dropped before Parks if they both keep playing in the defense.
