is a 400k may or daniel (passing on a 500k ridley) better than a 500k brayshaw (passing on a 600k mid)

Quick call to be made - go with Frederick now that he appears to be the sub (other three emergencies are playing in the SANFL game this afternoon), or stick with Murphy?

I'm leaning towards Frederick now personally, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

It depends what your other mids are IMO. If you already have for example Taranto & Cripps you might not also get Brayshaw because they are all the M8 type and you'll then not be able to get all the other big gun mids.

If you don't have any other "M8 types", then I would go Brayshaw because I think it'll hurt more not having Ridley

Port may not get any injuries and he gets no score or price rise.
Could also have an injury in the first quarter and he puts up a score of 50-60 with a big price rise.

It's a risk either way now and typical of Hinkley to reward a young player who's had two pretty solid games first up with a "maybe" 3rd game as the sub.

Could also have an injury with 2 minutes left and tank his cash generation entirely.

Like I said there was risk either way - now I'll just be crossing fingers and toes that Port gets through what should be an easy game tonight unscathed without having to use the sub, because Fredericks as a downgrade target will be huge for my team at some point in the next 4-5 weeks.

Sorry for the late reply as you probably needed to know before the last game but the poor job security would now trump the healthy breakeven.

I'm losing both matchups anyway and at 40k rank overall's not a consideration, so I'll stick with Rowe -> Murphy via Clark / Finlay DPP and keep the other trade in my back pocket.

Next week I'll fix my ruck donut by going Meek -> Marshall and I'll have another look at May and Daniel after this week's games.

And of course the SC gods have chosen to bite me on the ass - Murphy subbed off with concussion. Watch Fredericks ton up and cement his spot in the backline for the rest of the season now.

I'm getting really sick of never being able to make a move that actually sticks and wearing donuts every damned week is getting really tiring.

I'm actually having a decent year yet I'm still finding it a grind. I work on weekends and have given up trying to track all the permutations. I make my decisions mostly on a Friday night and que sera sera.

After way too much thought and debate this week, I settled on the fairly vanilla trades of Cox and Rowe to Murphy and May.

Not too phased by May's game tonight, hoping this is around his floor, we know he can go big.

Murphy concussion is very unfortunate. Hopefully he comes straight back in.

Ended up going Rowe & Chapman - Lloyd & Murphy. Not the ideal outcome this round but confident in the move looking forward. 50/50 call between Clarry & Lloyd this week and next and probably should have done it the other way around but it is what it is.
