So, is anyone keeping the Texan ?
Is he playing with an injury or is it a case of other teams have worked out his style of play.

The gut says to trade him but it stu*** up my plans.
I'd be happy with 75's - 80's from him at the moment to focus on trades in other areas.
He started the season so well and now thrown in two absolute stinkers. Will it continue ?
It's a really tough call.

It stalls another upgrade but if he's going to continue to dish up the rubbish he's dished up the past couple of weeks then he just has to go this week with his enormous BE.

I'm a bit torn but leaning to trading him.

Hey lads, reckon Poulter is a must have? His heat map shows he was mainly playing a role in the defensive half at the weekend. Does he have strong enough JS to play until the BYES? If I bring him in I would have 3 Collingwood rookies in my team but worried he'll get dropped when Howe comes back.
Also worried McCreery might get dropped before he's made enough $$$ to warrant a trade out (similar to Brockman just sitting on my bench).
Wouldn't lump him in the "must-have" category but certainly a lot of appeal to him.

Will admit I left my mother's day shopping run later than I should've so didn't catch as much of the game as I would have liked! But on twitter you should be able to find the video of Poulter's debut announcement. Once you get past the basketball set up for the cameras Bucks talks to how they've tried Poulter in a few positions but they love how he can play a role on a wing. IMO, so far he's done nothing to reverse that opinion. That, combined with the fact Collingwood looked as good as they have for a month (notwithstanding it was North) means I would say its his spot to lose.

Thoughts on Darcy Moore? Very cheap, sounds like he's gone back to Defending...
Username checks out.

It's Hail Mary type stuff if you're chasing overall or seeking to climb the ladder in leagues... But there are definitely worse Hail Mary's to throw.

Injury history the big concern, as well as role change (seems unlikely he'd play forward again but never say never). But if he plays every game at half back from here on in, you'll have got a bona fide premium at a substantial discount. Depends on your needs.

Don't know about injury, but seems to be carrying something, if I did not have to trade Duggan and Chapman last week he would have been gone.

I think the problem is he has been no where near the 75-80 the last two weeks. I'm abit in 2 minds, ideally he would be traded, but I need to get rookies off-field too.

If no other issues present themselves this week and L Ryan is back this week (he was supposedly close last week, but who knows), I will probably move him on as I think this is the last week one can do so, or you nearly have to ride him out given he will probably lose another 40-50k this week. Through some DPP magic, I could go to Ridley in one trade which seems more reliable, but will need to assess the teams this week before making a final call.

I think if you think he can go 80+ from now, then he is borderline, but given he has been no where near that the last 2 weeks, I think that will be tough. WCE, MEL, RIC, COL STK, BYE is a pretty tough draw especially if he is carrrying an injury, I did not see the game so am unable to shed any light on his movement around the ground.

As I said if no other issues this week I'm probably leaning towards trading even if is part of a double down to Poulter and RCD.

If Robertson went better last round I think I would be more comfortable trading Walker, but I fear Robertson will be droppd after his poor game yesterday.

Took RCD last week so Poulter the only confirmed in for me.

The other in will be one of Ridley, Titch or Marshall. Titch the least "needed" but the most pressing in terms of breakeven. If I think I can make Ridley and Marshall work in the coming weeks I'll likely take Titch.

2 of Kosi, Warner and Berry out.

I'm finding it difficult to decide which rookies to cull this week.

Kosi seems the most obvious but with no defender downgrade it means he would need to be upgraded.

A few others have kick-started their cash gen or have low BE (Rowe, Scott, McNeil, Flynn) and the rest don't really have enough value to trade (Berry, Mansell, Murry, Waterman). It then leaves Jordan, Powell and Warner but I like those three as safer onfield options.

Am considering actually trading Cripps instead to build up the bank. I feel with loops I can almost get the same score from a rookie.

A lot depends on whether Highmore is named and I can cover Duggan with a loop. Otherwise considering:

Duggan > Ridley
Cripps > Poulter

Hang in there mate. I have used more trades by this point than in any other year including my first! it's been brutal.
Finally got Grundy & Gawn in (up from rookie rucks)
Trade ins of Parish and Mitchell have been good. Hopefully things turning a corner for me. I just have to value shop for the rest of the year and probably hold a few 2-5 week injuries that will occur as I have well and truly used my injury trades+ lol!
Easier to wait until Thursday night's teams I think.

Still waiting for Flynn's next game for the extra $ 40k + , but after Round 9 might not be anything viable to downgrade him too , on current prices to go Flynn - > Marshall will cost $ 260,700.00.

Could go Flynn - > Poulter but then will need to field 2 of McCreery , Poulter & Rowe each round until they can be upgraded.

Mansell @ D6 is shaky in more ways than one so could be missing Round 9.

Highmore & Jones as bench back ups , at least Jones is back running.

Powell & Jordon still going well with $$$ to make , but still will need $ 150-175k each to be upgraded to premiums.

Bench is Berry (still playing , $ 209k is he worth trading ?) , McNeil kickstarting his $$$ , Fyfe my donut.

Issue then is when do the next lot of debutants appear and will they be worth waiting for ?

Too early for BBL research , so will have to work something out.

Maybe Berry - > Poulter and just sit or try and upgrade Warner (reasonable draw coming up to his bye so could kickstart his scoring again)

Poulter the most obvious trade-down option this week.

Tom Mitchell looks to be the best trade-in target, low breakeven and only 525k. Ridley (488k) and Martin (443k) presenting good value, but both expected to drop further over the next couple of weeks.

Harmes now on the bubble as a midprice near-premium option in defence.
