Trying to work out a plan to get to the byes, and this week is obvious (at this point)

Cox + Gulden -> Ridley + Poulter

Then next week the obvious outs are Warner and Campbell in a one up one down scenario (I'd be starting with 180k). I'd prefer to go down from Campbell in the midst, but that leaves me needing to go up in the forward line, which is just a complete nothing. Probably Marshall would be the best option but my bye structure is already stuffed. I could potentially swing Poulter to the forward bench if Heeney happened to return, bit that would break a f/m link, and would also push a better performed rookie off field. Maybe that's the go and try and rectify the f/m before byes by getting Martin for Powell. Or even work out if I need it.

Ok, I think I have a plan

Next 3 weeks

Out: Cox, Gulden, Campbell, Warner, Powell
In: Ridley, Poulter, Gaff (say), cheap mid (??? Is this even a thing, might have to take Byrnes this week?), Dusty

Something like that...

LOL. He could be the Stringer replacement.
Hang on, none of this advice is helping anyone push that trade button. People have addictions to feed!

Starting to think one trade only this week. Campbell to Poulter or RCD, likely to take the one with the higher round 2 score. RCD TOG and CBA declining could be concerning, o***et potentially by Bolt out.

Any stats I am missing on in and out.

Dont want to move on rookies sub $150k yet and thinking I hold Power/Warner for a little while longer with good match ups coming.

What do we generally think the "correct" bye structure at the start of Rd 12 is?

23-20-17?

24-21-15?

My preference has always been to be set up for "no trade" Rd 12, and then go hard the next 2 weeks, so that I'm trading in between 4 and 6 warm bodies for Rd 14 over the 2 weeks prior.

I think with 23-20-17 and 3 trades each week you give yourself the best chance with 23 potential players every week.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I can only laugh, I'm sooo far away from this.
Did a stocktake last night on players who are getting a game and I'm sitting at 19 - 13 - 18 atm
If my DNP rookies all played, I'd be 25 - 18 - 20
Will need to work something out, else Rd13 is shaping up to be an epic disaster.

Are you sure you don't mean: 22 - 18 - 20? or 25 - 15 - 20?

Anyway, I really tried to think about the byes but week 12 seems tight for me at this stage. Still time to fix a little, but ... Have brought in Mitchell (went him over Kelly)
for me - I have
W12 - W13 - W14
20 - 21 - 19
with current DNP'ers
18 - 19 - 16
and Keeper(-ish)
11 - 12 - 11

So yeah - need to start bolstering week 12 from here fo my team

I need to trade Stephenson and Chapman this week. Given the current lack of reliable options in the forward line, I am hesitant to trade up to a premium, but if I dont, I will be playing 3 rookies on field in the forwards. I am probably most comfortable with bringing in Zorko? Others I think I want are Marshall and probably dusty? Danger a little later on potentially?

If I dont bring in a forward premium, I would probably look at bringing in a Steele or Titch in the mids....

Chapman > ?
Stephenson > ?

Any thoughts/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Capture.JPG

Anyone with good knowledge of the saints able to elaborate on Ryan Brynes?

I watch a bit of the saints game and he seemed busy without anything jumping out at me to think he has great JS. I am inclined to pass and take Poulter in preference

21 trades left.

Thinking to chop a dead rookie to bring in RCD (Downie...), stimulate cash gen & another player (hopefully) through the byes. Or I could go J.Clark out, RCD in, swing A.Fyfe to Def. Think I should wait on team selection though (Thursday, yay!!!), as it leaves me thin on the bench i.e. would need Highmore in (lol) or Houston to get up.

Reckon Jezza C in for broken wrist boy. Geez.

I brought him in (last week), so Zorko is about due to miss a couple games.

Chapman > RCD or Poulter, Laird goes back to defence.

Stephenson > Zorko or Titch depending on if you want a fwd or a mid.

I think my trades will depend on the ins and outs specifically backline rookies. Looking like I might just complete my backline this week by getting Lloyd, almost $100k off of his starting price and hasn't really hurt non owners so far, I was targeting him for the last few weeks for this round anyway, even though Hall presents a real value option up forward. For $160k less Docherty has only scored 24 points less so far into the season. Jordan Dawson is probably hurting Lloyd's ceiling but his floor is still a 95 so I can't see him getting that much cheaper.

It looks like Mason Redman (6) has taken over Ridley (3) as the #1 kick-in taker. I'm not sure whether that will continue, but I'm now happy to wait a week on Ridley and use this week to double downgrade. Would like to see Ridley go back to dominating kick-ins before bringing him in as I think that was a big factor in his high early-season scores.
