If Flynn and Waterman join Highmore as rookies coming back from the dead (and Mansell holds his spot), my only DNPs might be my FDs in Sharp and Oea! Unlikely that happens but would be nice!
Wanted Highmore back in a couple of weeks! Becomes a massive negative POD now as a cash cow and I'm not going to trade him in, surely? Still blows my mind he stayed in 94% or whatever it was of teams!
I think it’s a big indication of the world of hurt everyone has been with injuries to key players this year - I personally haven’t had a chance to trade him but it’s been on my list of things to do for a while now...

You’ve probably got to let him run against you if you don’t already have him on the bench, unless you have a backline rookie who is ready to downgrade.
The fact that he’s already been shown to have role insecurity makes him less desirable than at least a couple of other rookies who are on the bubble.
Very handy in for those of us that held him though.
For those that have held since the start, him just getting on the hallow turf of Marvel is a win in itself. Just stepping out there gives him a rise on his $117K, which is all we can ask for.
For those that are planning on trading him in, it'd be the worst imaginable result.
Likely cant loop, deciding which 2 on field out of Poulter,RCD,Scott,Robertson and Bergman is going to be tough, can likely even throw Waterman in the mix.
For me it doesn't matter, if he's not playing in the byes and I have the trades, he gets traded to the best option regardless of how little he's made. Any cash he makes between now and then is a bonus.

It is always a range of factors. Often these players are traded out in the byes to someone who plays three games and becomes deadwood, all to save a donut.
We get to the end of the season needing a trade to use for a premium injured or to downgrade a $270k player and we spent it during the byes. Dangerous to commit that he will be traded if he has played just this extra game.
Have see a SC winner who kept plowman the entire year at D8. Learn from the winners the discipline I say, I am not good enough to create my own rules to win.
These trades pay the highest return round 3-7 as the quality of rookies is higher then that you are trading to. If it is Lachie Jones traded in, maybe it makes sense. Remain fluid, flexible and open minded and dont worry about this now.
